Don't agree with the Fox hype much at all. He's not clearly an NBA star with his skill set, no way. Yeah his intangibles and some of his abilities do seem to translate, but that's not a clear PG athlete/talent or someone who has NBA offensive gifts. I don't even see some amazing passer. He seems like a good kid with heart and smarts. His NBA talent is not jumping out at you. Mudiay had more gifts.

He's the quickest player in any draft since Wall and has a better jumper than Wall did at the same point also (albeit with worse vision's then Wall's elite vision). He gets into the paint at will and can defend. I think you have a certain disdain for certain types of players.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm leaning towards Tatum likely falling in that scenario of the Isaac going 4th. I can't see so many teams passing on Fox. But, if it happens:

We probably never know if was a Gaines call or Phil, or maybe we will when Frank will kick ass and Berman or Isola will say that was Gaines scauting, or when he'll suck ass and in that case was a Phil call

It's interesting because a few days ago they said publicly that Monk had one of the best shooting workouts they have ever seen.

Again, though, when there is news out there I don't totally trust it because the Suns FO is very secretive. There is also talk that they don't think Fox is a fit.

If I had to guess, I'd say their big board not counting Fultz is:

Ball
Jackson
Tatum (maybe)/Isaac

And that might be it for now...they MIGHT like Fox but I can see why they don't think he's a fit. I think they want shooting, passing and defense at the wing position. He doesn't really address any of those.
