And so it (truly) begins.

Just stop...Especially when half of the "Melo is evil" crew pops nothing but pictures of Doncic every 5 posts. It's about time we start embracing the star we have now and stop looking for the next...And its an appreciation thread, hopefully the Melo convos end here and continue in the "Around the NBA" threads where they belong.

You obviously don't believe in KP, otherwise you wouldn't be salivating for another star. That's fine if you don't. Just take that tank stuff somewhere else. This ain't Philly.

I believe in KP.. But I don't think he's leading us to the playoffs alone. Nope

KP is who should be the center piece. This Knicks team will probably win just as many (if not more) games without Melo as they have won with Melo the last few years.
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

Another failed Dolan experiment. Destroyed all assets to get a flawed star who was always a #2 and not a #1.

I respect Melo for his career but he accomplished nothing here. Nothing even remotely good. It was way past time to move on. Goodbye and good luck.

He was a great player. People will miss him in the years to come when we clearly no longer have a legit #1 scoring option. The one year he had semi-competent PG-play backing him up, we won 54 games.

It's a team game. Is San Antonio tanking for another star to help Leonard? Not expecting an answer but think about it.

I'll say this.. knicks are going to be better then what a lot of skeptics say. Knicks can be a 6-8 seed if Ntilikina blossoms quickly.

THJ is going to have a season worth his contract. Put my name on that right now. Please.

Melo is a flawed player who needed a roster constructed in a specific way to succeed. We could never provide that for him. He was also stubborn. Both the Knicks and he were at fault for this failed experiment. I wish him luck elsewhere.

that OKC squad is scary

Westbrook 41.7% usage
Melo 29%
PG 29%

OKC squad is scary alright-- for OKC fans. That usage is a recipe for turmoil and underachieving, especially with the horrible defense Melo plays nowadays.

I do hope Melo goes far while in OKC. If they can put it together they probably can get to the WCF atleast.

Finally the Warriors will have some competition other than the Spurs. They have Rockets and OKC now.

Mags, I'm apologizing now. Please forgive me.

I was planning on doing work around my house because I don't have a kitchen, cabinets, bedroom, full bathroom, etc because I'm working on it.

But my doctor told me that I'm not allowed to drink hard liquor anymore. I've been saving a bottle of Cockspur rum, tho, for when the knicks were finally cut loose from the last 7 year **** show that has been Melo - even my dad called me to congratulate on the knicks getting rid of him because he remembers how pissed I was the day the knicks traded for him. And he hates sports.

So I'm saying sorry now for anything I may write today. You may want to temporarily suspend me. I'm so happy right now.......this must be what having a child is like - it's finally the start of something great!

Yeah, because he responded so well to Linsanity.

responded so well he told them to bring him back because he was jealous of someone more popular than him in ny.

Yes he is.
You and no one else gets to pull fan cards unless you want yours pulled too.
