Hezonja has never been embraced by Farnk Vogel ,Knicks should go after him ,he is very athletic with a deep stroke from outside

Hernangomez ,23(C),NY for Hezonja 22 (SG), Orlando

Both young ,
Hernangomez out of the rotation behind Kanter and O'Quinn
and
Hezonja at the bottom end of the rotation for Orlando

Knicks need a young piece at SG/SF more so than a crowded Center spot on the Knicks

Um, no.

Trade Kanter. (BTW, all of the mods know about how protective you are of Kanter.)

Two of the top 5 don't get their 4th year options picked up

Wow

These dudes could be had for nothing. We should take some flyers and see what sticks.

Assuming that we're not serious about keeping Kanter and McBuckets, what do you think we could get back for a combo of those two plus Courtney Lee at the trade deadline in 2/18? Then we could put the tank in 5th gear and go after that lottery pick.

McBuckets they might keep as a possible cheap floor spreader. He and Kuz might make a nice SF combo.

Kanter is hard to figure out. They might just want to pump up his value some more then deal him to team in need of low post presence, he's still young too (25 IIRC), and his contract is decent. Options include:

    ▪ Detroit
    • Charlotte
    • Toronto
    • Portland
    • New Orleans
    • Golden State
    • Cleveland
    • Utah
    • Washington

NYK: Salary Dump/PG help next year if Lin ever recovers, but mostly salary dump

Do you really think Brooklyn is so desperate for potential young talent that they'd be willing to take on Noah's contract to take a flyer on Okafor?

If so, might as well take Philly out of the equation and offer WHG.

I have a feeling if the Jabari Parker rumors are legit that we are at least interested in him as a player. I would have to think WHG would have to be involved in any trade. Obviously KP and Frank are untouchables.

Doubt Bucks would accept. Maybe throw in Willy and take out the worst contract coming back to us.

I do think that. They did something similar to this with D'Angelo Russell recently. They won't need the cap space for awhile. And with the news since this post that Okafor is likely to head to the Celtics if bought out, the Nets ought to look into acquiring Okafor via trade. Also, this trade in combination with another will open up time for WHG, which is only going to get worse. The idea is to keep WHG, while shedding Noah and unfortunately Courtney Lee.
