The guy I think is going to help them steal a game or two, if it’s even considered steaming for this juggernaut, is Casspi. Have always been a fan.

Cassipi is ok but he can't get hot like Young. Young hits demoralizing shots that can kill a teams confidence. He can hit tough shots when teams play tough defense and that can just kill an opponents spirit who does everything right but still gets burned

He’s def a get hot and blow a game open guy. I just think Casspi does more than just hit open shots.

He’d actually be a huge upgrade for OKC over Huestis and Abrines.

monta ellis is a free agent. okc should pick him up as a scorer of the bench. like how houston did with gerald green

It's a shame there's a team like Golden State, well the shame is KD. Damn shame.

Why didn't they make any moves at the deadline? I mean not even a buyout signing, nothing? Even the guy the Knicks signed, Troy Williams, would have helped them some.

He would of been great. Just bring something to the table. Huestis is ok on D and Abrines can hit open 3’s but that’s it.

I can’t believe they stood pat with PG entering FA. I’d like to think the Roberson injury changed the approach for the deadline.

I hated it but it did make force other teams to take more chances. That HOU roster is 9 deep and ready for a heavyweight bout.

They do have an owner on a budget so I'm not sure what their cap/luxury tax situation looks like but I'd imagine it played some part in it. Not everybody has Dolan money

Carmelo’s decline is becoming harder and harder to ignore. Doesn’t get to the line anymore. Barely rebounds. Misses a crazy amount of shots. He’s only 33, this doesn’t totally make sense to me."-Bill Simmons via Twitter.

Melo lacks discipline.

He was slacking back then. He has the natural ability, but not the work ethic

You don't get as good as Melo was just off natural talent. Come on now. He obviously worked on his game ALOT!

Now that I have your attention, let's look back on the 2009 Lottery:

1. Blake Griffin, LA Clippers: Traded to the Detroit Pistons

2. Hasheem Thabeet, Memphis Grizzlies: Currently working a Döner stand in Berlin, Germany for minimum wage.

3. James Harden, OKC Thunder: Traded for Kevin Martin and currently taking the Rockets for another post-season run.

4. Tyreke Evans, Sacramento Kings: Actually spent two tours in Sacramento, currently with Memphis.

5. Ricky Rubio, Minnesota T-Wolves: Currently making Utah into a losing club.

6. Jonny Flynn, Minnesota T-wolves: Currently employed at Mel Farr Superstar, Used car salesman.

7. Steph Curry, Golden State WArriors: History...and changed the game to small ball.

8. Jordan Hill, New York Knicks: Co-starring with Lexington Steele and ex-con Anna Benson in a Bang Bus production.

After years of the Knicks trading away Future first Rounders, (then) Team President Donnie Walsh decided not to mortgage the future. He ended up, sealing the Knicks fate for years to come.

On the bright side, the Knicks helped give the road to the Golden State Warriors to transform from a second rate Phoenix Suns into a dynasty in the making. If you want an even crazier owner than Dolan, look no further Jacob Lacob but none of that matters when you are winning.
