Nikola Vucevic added 17 points and 11 rebounds for the second seeded Pistons. Detroit also played lockdown defense holding Milwaukee's starting unit to just 33 points in the game. Klay Thompson was especially effective on the defensive end as he held DeMar DeRozan to just 5 points on 1-7 shooting. Detroit moves on to play the #5 seeded Brooklyn Nets in the ECF.

Sacramento wins series 4-3

Spoiler:
The Kings completed the upset of the #3 seeded Trailblazers in a high scoring, entertaining game seven in Portland. Sacramento held a 10 point lead at halftime and held off a late rally from Portland as the Kings depth (4 players scored 20+ points and six scored in double digits) outplayed the Trailblazers big two of Kevin Durant (37 points) and Jimmy Butler (32 points). Portland won the first three games of their first round series against San Antonio before being forced to a decisive game seven in which they won. They played with fire again as this series followed the same script up until game seven where Sacramento was able to complete the comeback. The Kings advance to play the top seeded and well rested Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals.

Brooklyn 99 Detroit 92
Spoiler:
Image
Brooklyn leads series 2-0

Spoiler:
Joel Embiid scored 33 points and added 12 rebounds to lead Brooklyn to a 2-0 series lead after a second straight win in Detroit. Victor Oladipo scored 20 as all five Net starters scored at least 11 points. Detroit's bench outscored the Brooklyn bench 41-4 in the game but Detroit's starters were badly outplayed by Brooklyn's first five. Klay Thompson led the Pistons with 17 points, but another subpar outing from Nikola Vucevic (8 points/7 rebounds on 3-9 shooting) doomed the Pistons. Brooklyn heads back home with a chance to close out the series if they can win the next two games.

Dallas 121 Sacramento 108
Spoiler:

Dallas leads series 2-0

Spoiler:
The Mavericks cruised to a second straight win over the Kings behind solid efforts from Giannis Antetokounmpo (31 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists), Bradley Beal (31 points) and Darren Collison (23 points off of the bench). Dallas jumped out to a 13 point lead after one and was never threatened the rest of the way as Sacramento was never able to cut the lead below 7 in the second half. Kyrie Irving scored 33 points for Sacramento in defeat. The Kings head home down 2-0 for the second consecutive series and hope to turn things around before they lose game three as they did in the Western Conference SemiFinals against the Trailblazers.
