I really wanted to see the Raptors pull off the Conley/Gasol deal, but apparently there wasn't much traction to it

Who's hyping him up?
Have you not seen the Tatumless packages they tryna hype up?

And hopefully it just further adds to the belief among players that Boston is cheap and petty and doesn't treat players right.
Keep watching Mr. Davis Senior.

That’s because Boston has so many picks.
Brown is also better than any prospect we could add.
Us Knick fans must take the homer glasses off. We did this with KP.
Rozier
Brown
Williams
A bunch of picks
Is better than
Knox
Frank
Kanter
A bunch of picks

It's why KG didn't want to go there initially. It was only after they acquired Ray Allen that he felt comfortable going there. Also, other than being a huge sports town, there's not much to do in Boston. These athletes are young and love going out. The nightlife in Boston isn't all that great.

In this scenario a deal with the Knicks right now saves the Pelicans $30M. I'd imagine that could be extremely intriguing to them when contemplating a Knicks offer.
Very important. I think the Knicks should seize the fleeting sports momentum and make a deal now.
Agreed.. too much can happen (ala. Paul George re-signing). Get AD and worry about the rest later. I wonder if trading Knox or Ntilikina for any first would allow us to be more aggressive with picks (i.e.) -
Ntilikina traded for lottery protected 2020 1st...
Knicks Trade:
2019 NYK
2020 NYK (Knicks keep the pick received for Ntilikina)
2021 NYK
2021 DAL
2023 DAL
Knox
Mitch
Dotson
Kanter
We'd basically have no 2019 1st Round Pick or 2021 1st round pick. We would still have a pick in 2020 (lottery protected), 2022 and 2023. We'd go into the summer with DSJ, AD and nothing else.

I wanna take Tatum from them.

Rozier is about to be a RFA, which means NO would have to pay him pretty big $$$ (I can see a team like the Suns going hard after him), so he's not as valuable as you think. Our 2019 pick is the best pick between the 2 teams
