I don’t like fiz at all but these two dummies (mills and perry) blaming fiz for this is complete BS. This is an extremely flawed roster. They met randle and Portis on the first night of FA. They wanted they bums.

If anything they handed a bad coach a terrible hand to play with.

they also hired the coach. that's the thing about firing a coach you hired, you're admitting you f*cked up and you weaken your position. if the knicks still lose a lot this year, that's another red mark. next year looks similar and it's just about over.

I know we failed with Phil Jackson but we need an established and proven winner to take over. Someone who has a good track record in building teams. Don't hire someone because he was once a great player or coach. And don't try to sell us a guy because he once lived in NYC either. Get a second or third in command of a winning franchise.

The savior has to be out there somewhere.

We always go for "established and proven". That's why we fail. We need to be innovative and represent the future with new talent, not recycle older out of prime coaches and executives.

We need great management, that's the key. It feels like Donnie Walsh was the only competent manager we've had, but he was overruled by Dolan and forced to change his vision to accommodate Melo.

At this stage we need to find fresh, new talent to lead the way.

it's not what i would do but it's what i think will happen. i don't know if they'll get another coaching hire. we'll see.

Dolan is the problem to the degree that he retained Mills after Jackson's firing, and made him the President / GM - and then Mills signed Hardaway to that awful deal.

Mills has done nothing to warrant him remaining involved on the basketball side in any capacity.
