If you aren't limited like he is, like Bismack Biyombo for example, then yeah he can just do to you what others do to him and take the night off defensively. But when you can actually do something with the ball, he can't guard you. It's like it's too much to process for his brain, when he has to contest your jump shot or guard you when you put the ball on the floor or when he has to defend your footwork and strength and post moves. Like watching a robot malfunction

We play them again on 1/29, if anyone is into fanduel or draftkings, put Drummond in your lineup that day

Damn Hezi didn’t have to go off like that tho lol.

How group fits...my a$$ lmao.

Starters: no shooting, no spacing, ball movement is reliant upon Randle drive and kicks
Bench: ++ shooting, ++ spacing, more defensive energy, + ball movement

So if his goal is to have a really cohesive bench I guess he's got it

Realistically, in the long run this is a good loss for us. If we luck ourselves into Cade or Suggs with Randle, RJ, quickley, and Mitch I think we’ll be ready to make moves towards the playoffs. I don’t think we’re that far away.

i need reasons why bullock playing 30 minutes and getting smoke by osman but Knox who has been a smoking gun only playing 18 mins?

he needs to check himself as a coach with these rotations.

Mitch and RJ getting b*tchsmacked, hopefully good for them.

I can't believe this bears repeating because it's so damn obvious and so damn talked about, but the lack of spacing and cohesion with Elfrid + Randle is so g*damn awful it's insane. WTF are these clowns thinking?

I mean yea because the media shouldn’t be the one that handles a demotion. If he flat out implies that Payton is done as a starter then that will be in the articles tomorrow. They are saying that they are doing their due diligence and we will handle moves like this internally, and that’s what a competent coaching staff does.

Is it me, or do we play Cleveland 8 times a year?

Where in hell is Burks lol.

The team was not bad with him playing at the level he was.

The body language between Quickley and Payton during substitutions and time outs tells me there's a lot of tension right now and Elf sees the writing on the wall.

I predict Quickley takes over as starter, drops 30, and the next day we trade for Mike Conley or Dame Lilliard or some sh*t like that.

If it takes burks playing well for this team to thrive we are doomed by default :nonono:

Payton tends to play well the next games when he knows his starting job is in jeopardy, so back to 38 minutes for Payton the next game and 10 minutes for IQ. Then he will suck again and it will be an endless circle until Thibs mans up and change things up.

If trading Randle means we lose by 25 instead of 10 while opening up playing time for Knox and Obi, don’t know how anyone can not agree
