Yeah but sexton is a scoring guard + only a 51 defensive rating. That’s probably the last thing you’d need next to Zion/Luka/kP. a Malcolm brodgon or any point guard that is more 3/D orientated would make a better balance imo.

then sexton can play a important role off the bench as a scorer.

When I traded two 30 year olds for Sexton I was not aware of a great 3D PG or SG that was available for them. Please enlighten me. At the time of the trade what I had in mind was a top 10 offense. But with the SIM's treatment of Sexton that is not working out.

If we are just going to pull rabbits out of our ass...I could use Brogdan or CP3, Gobert or Capela, and PG13 or Leonard

i feel like your a patty mills away from causing damage in the east But your probably not willing to give up assets at the same time either I know you said your just going to just let the season play out.

well, if you want to bolster your defense and offense, i can package jimmy butler with a few of my guys for doncic :dontknow:

butler is having an MVP caliber season: 26p, 8a, 7r, 53%, leads the league in triple-doubles. have couple of solid defensive/offensive players as well who are starting-caliber, like morris, horford, haywad, ross

I'm trying to figure out what makes Boston's defense so good. We average 114 points per game and these cats held us to 88. Our lowest outing of the season. They're currently the #2 ranked defense in the entire league!

probably will be #1 after POR hung up 138 on us.

But probably has to do with them playing grind and you playing grind offense as well. Playing at a really slow pace.

Also factor in there is a lot of garbage time minutes with BOS as well so usually both teams 3rd stringers are finishing games.

Also BOS might not have an elite defender but they also don't have a bad defender in there rotations. He might not have a lot of 70+ defenders but he also doesn't have a sub 60 defender in his lineup. So whoever he puts in there is at least capable of defending his position.

Yea I looked at this earlier and figured they're playing some good team defense with no weak link out there on that end. I didn't think about the garbage time though. Good point. Regardless of what they do offensively, to be that bad overall yet #2 on Defense is freakin impressive :lol:
