My girl work in the hospital said it’s no joke his arm will be in a sling and should be more than a month. Maybe with NBA treatment it’s less.

Posted that study in the Randle thread. 8 weeks no surgery and 19 weeks if surgery. Assuming not a minor case the time would be less.

My guess is 4 - 8 weeks. Hopefully the MRI results come back good.

How long if no structural damage?

The injury didn’t look SO bad. I’ve seen more where the shoulder is more prominent. This looks like he will be back 2/22. First game after all star break. What helps is he is actually of bigger build. A lot of muscle up top so harder to pop that arm out. He would have really needed to hit the deck harder than the way he did.

He will be back 2/22
We have 9 games from now till then. I think we can go 6-3 in that stretch. I’ll take it and run with it. He’ll be back in 3-5 weeks. Luckily one of those weeks is the all star week off.

Ok cool, this will be a great chance for other guys to step up.

If LeBron can be an all-star at 39, Randle with NBA treatment will be back up and running after the all-star break.

He’s flashing some serious game. Only weakness seems to be handle and would only get better finishing but he’s been hitting everything as a Knick. Putting up power forward finishing numbers dunking everything.

I was thinking the same. Julius helps with boards but whenever OG hits the bench we are in trouble. McBride will see more minutes with precious. I still think we swing a grimes + Fournier + picks trade for someone. Though grimes defense looked good today

I was thinking this dood has that early Kawhi type defense. Like when Kawhi was on that spurs team that beat the heat, when Kawhi was the finals MVP. He’s got that type of game I was thinking when I saw the game today.

Keep Grimes. Bring in a g-leaguer as a back up PF if needed. Wait out Hayward.

We got enough to win. No need to panic. Randle should be back in 6-8 weeks I’d guess and playoffs are 11 weeks away.

Wtf he mean “much damage,” either there’s damage or there isn’t. I hate x-rays anyway. They never tell the whole story as it just diagnoses bone-related injury. The MRI results will tell the full story.

Lmao. I might be a doc but I’m still from Queens 8-) 8-)

The injury is a FOOSH injury.
If he would have tucked the arm more in, he would have broke the collar bone. If he completely splayed the arm out laterally, he would have torn the pec. For all possible outcomes, this injury was the lightest and least detrimental, and one where he can be rested until after all star break.

Brunson stat line is absurd
38mins +24, 32pts on 12-22fg(4-8/3pt%), 5rb, 8ast, 1st, 1blk, 0 turnovers!!
