this is like the 3rd straight season mitch has had an injury that required him to miss a significant time.

pat Riley just fired shots at jimmy butler over his availability to play during the season.

you'd be a complete fool to depend on a guy as a starter who cant even finish a season for 3 straight years.

that has nothing to do with the fact that someone hurt mitch on purpose. its just facts.

mitch is no longer a starter because he cant be depended on to actually... play.

Previous is not exactly a Cal Ripken Jr. ironman himself.

Definitely going to need more depth to team up with Hartenstein, Previous and Randle.

I feel so bad for the longest tenured Knick. All he's done is try and play for us as much as his body would allow. Unfortunately I think bulking up was a mistake for him all along. I know it helps against bigger matchups but he's only had injury troubles since putting the weight on, and every foot and ankle and leg injury he sustains makes it harder for him to stay in shape because he can't do any cardio and stuff

I feel for him, kid is a warrior who tries to fight through injury as much as the medical staff will allow him to..

Mitchell needs to holler at Big Z. That man battled foot and leg injuries for years. He finally got right and healthy late in his career, and he was playing big minutes.

Tough blow with the Mitch news but Precious is more suited for this series anyway. Next man up. Guess Burks will probably get some burn now as well. We aren't beating the Celtics anyway even with Mitch.

I've said it before, but I've accepted that the Knicks ceiling is likely the ECF and losing to the Celtics. They're just too depleted at this point.
