I would like to highlight this again....we now have a good sample size on the season. We are basically consistently solid on defense for 3 qtrs....then everything goes to **** in the 4th. Can someone give me an explanation for this other than the obvious?

You won't get an explanation, people gotta get their agendas off even when the stats are from half the season staring them in the face.

Don’t duck the smoke bro. You know it was me who came at you. You’re gonna start rooting for other teams as soon as the Knicks season flames out.
Then you’ll show back up when the Knicks inevitably fire Thibs sometime next year and lose a few games because we’ve replaced the coach and need some time to adjust to a new scheme, and you’re going to act like Thibs wasn’t the reason we lost so many games this year.

I know you’ve muted my posts, but you duckin smoke is a cowardly move, even for you

@sham you see what I’m talking about

Yes, the team spirit left their bodies in the 4th quarter of that game

Hot shooting masks it occasionally now, but they are not the same group any longer

I say more like exposed than broke. Our weakness are showing against better teams. But Im not feeling all gloom and doom. Not at all. Coaching, size, and a deeper bench are all fixable.

all is not lost either. we are 11 games over .500....we are comfortably in the 3rd seed right now. We shouldn't be blowing this thing up. We know we are probably a bench piece or two from really competing and that might not be fixed until say next year. But there can be adjustments this year to make the team better.

its not just a few minutes here or there...the miles run...the accumulation of minutes...it all matters. The extra rotation late in a game...the lack of focus. The poor turnovers. This can be cleaned up.

the minutes thing is a legit complaint. although the bench is horrific. the defense though ? nah.

only a few of us knew our defense would be ass with kat at the 5 (not hating on his game, great offensive player) and you compound that with a pretty awful defensive pg, mikal who hasn't played defense in years im not sure how anyone can expect this team would be great defensively. a lot of bad defensive pieces we put together. people think any other coach would magically fix this, i'd love to see that happen.

Dood for the last friggin time
If you have weaknesses at certain points with players on the floor, then you mask it
YOU DONT KEEP PLAY DROP WITH A GUY WHO CANT DEFEND THE PAINT
This leads opposing teams to abuse him in the paint and when we finally figure out how to stop it, those teams just bombs away

Your unwillingness to realize it’s the coach’s job to mitigate the shortcomings a bit is about as stubborn as Thibs.

I'm still in awe that Thibs played KAT 43 minutes with a possible dislocated thumb to beat the F'n Pistons in January.

Detroit is on fire lately and a much better team than last year. Thibs got out coached. The bench disappeared in the second half. I'm just gonna move on. Who got next?

it's not all bad my guy

we're still the 3rd seed and it would take a monumental collapse for us to fall in the standings

plus, as frustrating as it is watching this team sometimes, imagine how much worse it would be having to watch other teams on a regular basis

only five teams have less losses than the Knicks (Cavs, Celtics, Thunder, Rockets, Grizzlies)

Knicks are more enjoyable to watch than the rest of the NBA

I didn't watch tonight's game though so I'm not one to talk. I was watching WWE Raw on Netflix

Ummm. I did watch the game. So, yeah. The game wasn't all bad. Just the first and fourth quarters. I was commenting on what went wrong tonight. It wasn't really directed towards the season but, since you brought it up. Everything I just mentioned could be said about every loss pretty much. Some losses were also due to terrible 3 point shooting but, the rest still applies to pretty much all of our losses.

It is what it is. I expect a bounce back against PHI. DDV is a starter now in MIN. :o WE BETTER NOT LEAVE HIM OPEN FRIDAY NIGHT!!!

A starter that doesn't have to play 40 minutes a night! I'm happy for him.

Body language does suck, but seems like KAT was suppose to make the rotation.

That’s too far of a run out for someone that deep in the paint, you have to let Hardaway make a decision here rather than leave the hottest shooter on the floor

I think JB was suppose to swing to OG's man, OG was suppose to swing to KAT's man, and KAT was suppose to swing to Beasly. Whether it was the right design is a different story. I likely would prefer Hart giving up the shot to Tim.
