I'll live with it tonight. Thibs been good this stretch with mins.

At least it was 39 for OG, under the magic 40 mark

It’s coming together very nicely. I’m very much looking forward to our game vs Houston

If we win that game, I’m willing to say we are a contender

Machine Mikal explained it in a post game locker room interview. He said they are still learning eachother--etc
and at that moment I knew their recent play was a result of their chemistry continuing progress.

The ESPN announcer tonight, not Bilas but the play by play guy, mentioned tonight that OG said the same recently, that he's still learning to play with KAT and others.

You can see them all coming together the last 3 games. That 3 day break worked wonders

He already won a title though, so it's moot at this point.

And he’s averaging a trip double. That Nuggets team is not good, he’s doing gods work right now.

That shows you how good he is, if that team is not good then he's dragged them to a record almost as good as the Knicks in the tougher west. That counts for something, he's been a load.

Maybe just something simple and small like a Javonte Green.

What if we go with Mitch, Precious, Deuce, and Payne off the bench.

We use Hart or Mikal as the first guy who subs out with about 7 or 8 minutes into the 1st quarter. Then Hart or Mikal subs back in for the other guy essentially taking up Shamet's minutes entirely. Deuce backs up SG and some PG and gets 23 or so minutes. Payne maybe plays 8-9 mins at most. Then Precious can play some minutes with KAT and so can Mitch depending on the other team's strengths. And if other team's have average benches, you could even steal a few minutes with Precious and Mitch out there together and just pummel teams on the glass and on the defense while conceding some offense...

It could work. All while keeping the starters all under 38 minutes, even in the playoffs.

game plan was to let Murray shoot

we switched a lot, including the first play and second plays of the game.

many times on the pnr mikal or hart was able to tag Jokic roll and move him before the catch. he missed several short shots because of how aggressive our guards were pushing Jokic half a step away from the basket before his catch.

the game plan was clearly to let Murray take shots, let Jokic get some mismatches in the roll, but to never give the 2 on 1 drop roll where Jokic makes the pass to the baseline cutter for a eFG% of 90%.

I believe we have switched more int he last 2 games than we probably have in the previous 20. thibs is highly data driven and he will see how much more quality our defensive possessions are

its interesting that we saw little Jokic pure iso post ups. compare that to last year vs ihart you saw so much more. and we sent help all the time in that matchup.

52 minutes from bench, but real production and chemistry from Precious and Deuce.

Without bench production this team cannot win in the playoffs. With bench production, this is a championship caliber team.

I’m either cautiously optimistic or recklessly pessimistic, hard to tell. Check back later.

Lol we most certainly already are a championship contender. All we have to do is stay healthy. And Mitch is gonna be a big equalizer for a team like Cleveland.

Might be some exponential improvement since our offensive rebounding is below average and that is Mitch's strength. Good times ahead.

How do we get KAT healthy in time for playoffs? Shooting 3-18 from 3 since the injury.
At some point, teams will just play off him if his shooting isn't there

He can't fix that injury until the offseason.

He'll eventually find a way to shoot with it, guys break or damage fingers on their shooting hands all the time. Nobody is going to sag off him either, his reputation as a shooter means you can't give him free looks even when he's in a slump.
