Excellent. What half this board deserves.

Kind of wish he doesn't make it back for the playoffs.

I joked earlier there will be no time for Brunson to re-integrate therefore he'd sit out the playoffs, but if he really cannot return until then this is a situation where Thibs will be left on an ice floe to die if he can't organize this team better in the interim and when Brunson gets back.

I didn't know that Wolves boycotted TNT. But the most egregious thing is Draymond can get multiple suspensions then go on TNT as a commentator and trash the guy he choked out on the court.

Imagine he'd do the same with Kat this year if it happens. Only good thing is it would mean we went farther than GSW

If Mitch had the stamina to start it would bump everyone into proper positions. KAT 4, OG 3, Mikal 2

Brunson off the bench until he's 100% wouldn't be the worst idea. At least we'd have a spark off the bench.

There's a good deal of flexibility if they move Mitch to the starting lineup.

Mitch
KAT
OGA
Bridges
PG - take your pick. Thibs seems to like McBride, but Payne starting with Brunson playing off the bench working his way back might work too.

bench, Hart, Brunson, (McBride?) and the rest.

I've not given up, they just need to figure things out.

after what happened last night with players and Thibs being friendly with Draymond, I can totally see KAT welcoming a trade

I'm mentally preparing myself for a KAT for KD trade this summer

This team has never been forthcoming with injury severity and return dates, I half expect Brunson to just miss the playoffs.

Also, this is exactly why you play young players earlier in the season and give them reps. It's why you don't play your starters 40+ against the Wiz in December, you invest in younger players in the early part of the season so they can be ready later just in case one of your guys gets hurt which is inevitable with the ogre as our coach. You let Tyler play 15 meaningful minutes against the Hornets in December instead of having 4 of your 5 starters with 38-39 minutes in a 25 point win. Now we're at a point where the excuse is "he's not ready" no ****, he hasn't played a meaningful minute of NBA basketball in 3 months.

Yet another playoffs run where we will limp into them, we have never been healthy under Thibs in April and we never will be.

I told everyone that this will be 4-6 weeks absence if we are lucky and multiple months if not (high ankle sprain or grade 2). Anyone with a somewhat realistic attitude could see by the degree/angle which the ankle took that this could not be a 1-2 week absence. I read somewhere that it is classified as Grade 1-2....if that is the case I would shut him down till game 1 of the playoffs which would give him a full 6 weeks. The pain may be gone after 3-4 weeks but there will be some instability lingering for many more weeks....it would make zero sense to risk re-injury for 2-3 games in April. We are 2nd round fodder no matter what so the team should not take any risk with making this a chronic thing. If they can't get past Detroit with Brunson playing himself back into shape then may as well dodge a humiliating 2nd round sweep and conserve Brunson's health longterm.

SMH at losing 94-97 and 90points being scored by 4 guys and the bench scoring 4 points. This is what you get in late march when you start the season with a 6.5 man rotation and stubbornly refuse and attempt to solidify a bench. If there was at least an honest effort at giving bench guys a chance early in the season we may have put ourselves in a much better position and the vibes would have been much much better. This makes it like 3 for 12 vs the top 5-6 teams. SMh.

Thibs needs to go.

The handful of dudes who mock Kolek for whatever bogus reason (defense, yeah sure buddy) are the same guys who would pile on Kolek if he faltered when suddenly being given meaningful minutes by a desperate coach running out of bodies. You need to bring rookies along during the season. It is what good coaches do.

Looking back, the Knicks played well. Really, the bench was a disaster. 4 points, that is atrocious. The average NBA bench scores 35-40 points a game, if the Knicks bench was just bad, they would have scored 20 points that game would have been a blowout. Instead they had to be atrocious and could only muster 4 points. That is such a letdown.

Thibs has tp find some depth and expand the rotation.

Knicks have not had a bench since the OG trade.

I don't know where fans think Thibs is hiding all these great players... Last year it was Jacob Toppin now it's Kolek that will save them, lol not serious solutions when other teams have starters on their bench.
