y'all all need to relax. we just need to make it healthy to the playoffs. regular season don't matter much. we aint gonna have home court against the west and we really don't need it to beat these east teams. i just hope brown's coaching aint so bad that he drags us down.

Matt Barnes was on some podcast basically saying Brown is a great number 2 coach and is quick to lose the locker room. He was on that lakers team that brown got fired after a few games. Maybe things are better post golden state but didn’t that happen with the kings too?

It did happen with the Kings too. That's why Barnes is very skeptical about this working out in NY. I can understand maybe coaching Kobe and Artest was a challenge, but losing the locker room with the Kings is unacceptable.

Makes sense. That sounds better than playing Yabu next to towns against Allen and Mobley. It will be tough if either of them get into foul trouble cuz it only leaves Yabuselle as your only big/forward.

Well to be fair many coaches lose their teams after a certain time frame. But Brown wasn't fired from the Kings after a few games. Actually It didn't happen on the Kings before he:

1.won the NBA Coach of the Year award for that season, becoming the first coach to do so unanimously.

2.ended a 16-year absence from the postseason.

3. Developed Players, installed a wining culture-( He won 48 and 46 games in his 2 full seasons with them

see i didn't see the hustle last year til the playoffs. he played mad lackadaisical and smiled after making critical errors. that's what pissed me the **** off, not missed shots. he looked more locked into the game in preseason

It's a pretty drastic change from the Thibs and that might be part of the point of doing it.
