I like it. Totally forgot about him. He's a real life version of my 28 year old rookie in NBA 2K12.

Yea I think the Mavs picked up some good young players I don't know if they can be a contender.
James will be good for them.

Considered Jermaine O'Neal at #359 but went with Raja Bell who I think can bounce back once he's bought out from Utah. I should still be able to land a capable veteran big at #379 though.

Re: BAT 8.0 TRADE DISCUSSION (DRAFT IN OTHER THREAD) PART II
Was really between Rashard Lewis and Jermaine Oneal. Could have gone either way. Was hoping that I'd be able to snag JO in FA but figures Willy ends up taking him.
Come on boys...let's wrap this up and prepare for FA.
---
As a reminder...we'll be using the rules we started during the last BAT regarding FA...so everyone gets a chance.
RULES ARE:
1. Once pick 390 is made or pick 390's time is up (whichever comes first) the PICK thread will be locked. At some point (possibly the day after) and starting at 8PM EST I (or another mod) will unlock the PICK thread. As soon as the thread is unlocked each GM can pick ONE PLAYER and ONE PLAYER only. He will then not be allowed to pick again until the following night at or after the same time. On that second night, each GM can then pick ONE PLAYER again. And then on the 3rd night, the last player can be selected by each GM.
Example: GM JOHN picks his first FA at 8:02PM on the first night of free agency. He cannot pick up any other FA (dropped or otherwise) until at least 8:02PM the following night.
2. You DO NOT need to select any more players than the 12 you will have at the end of the 13 rounds...though you must have at least 12 players on your roster.
3. You CANNOT dip below 12 players at any point in the FA period. If you do you MUST immediately pick up someone.
4. You CANNOT exceed 15 players at any point in the FA period. If, by picking someone or taking someone on in a trade, you will exceed 15 players, you MUST first drop one player from your roster BEFORE the pick or transaction is made.
5. Dropped players cannot be selected for 24 hours or your earliest alloted time whichever is GREATER (see example in rule 1). This is to prevent any kind of monkey business or attempts to circumvent cap rules by timing it with another GM to drop a player that other GM wants, have him quickly pick that player up as part of a trade that otherwise could not be made due to cap rules that will come into affect for any trade after pick 390 is made or 390's time is up...whichever comes first.

I'm hoping O'neal (as usual) performs very well in a contract year not to mention in real life Phoenix has a way of resurrecting alleged washed up players careers (Shaq, Michael Redd, and now O'neal).

GF John Salmons is available.
Nice veteran for a contender or young team, 14/3/3 1 3pter/ game as a starter in 2011 w/ the Bucks.

The Nuggets are reporting high interest in moving Carmelo Anthony to the Orlando Magic for SF Rudy Gay in a 3 team deal. The Nuggets are looking for that 3rd team currently according to my sources.
