bump

While everyone has been pretty down on KP lately (Well, not only KP. down on the whole team. ), his last 10 games numbers are actually quite good.

21PPG, 6RPG, 1.2APG, 1.1SPG. 2.5BPG, 1TOV.

16 field goal attempts per game on 45/45/75 shooting.

Of course, rebounding could be better. And he tried to pass in some of those games. (and didn't in others :D )

Just wanted to bring up how he bounced back from his horrendous stretch after his ankle injury.

Before those 10 games listed above, he had those numbers in 12 games:

20PPG, 7.3RPG, 1.3APG, 0.6SPG. 2.7BPG, 2.2TOV.

19 FIeld goal attempts per game on 36/33/75 shooting.

I thought Porzingis played VERY well last night. The "fantasy numbers" might be modest BUT decision making and commitment to play defense was all there.

I think he's starting to realize he's not that 30 PPG he (and we all) thought he was in those first 10 or so games. Tried to do too much for a while and was banged up but he's since scaled it back and it's really been working well. In his last 10 games he's shot below 40% one time (.389) and above 50% 3 times. In the 10 before that he shot below 40% 6 times and above 50% once (11-22).

He'll become a consistent high-20s scorer but needs a couple more years to get there.
