In all honesty how big of an upgrade is Fournier from Burks? 12 million more? That’s basically the question

I guess we should sign Thanasis Antetokounmpo for a third time because you know, he's a champion lol.

Same thing happened to Giannis
Remember when every hood player made fun of him for not guarding Durant vs the nets in the playoffs?
Same bs

Re: Offseason Trades and Transaction Ideas Thread
Knicks interested in everyone which, if you think about it, is likely considering the number of free agents they have, the lack of quality in their draft picks and the fact that their 2nd best player can either be a SF or a SG.

Also they have at least 5 rotational spots to fill

OKC is making another asset play. I don’t think they have intentions to keep the dude long term

Re: Offseason Trades and Transaction Ideas Thread
As far as Fournier goes...
He's not crap. And yeah he's better than Alec Burks and Reggie Bullock overall. He may not be an ideal ideal player but he'd be more than fine as a replacement for either one of those guys. I would consider him an upgrade over either. You'd be replacing 2 backup caliber players for a starting caliber player. Now if the NBA allowed the entire rotation on the floor at the same time then the Knicks would have been fine. Before anyone starts the "he can't defend" mantra...neither could Burks or Bullock before last season.
Whether he's worth whatever is being discussed is debatable for sure. Depends on how much.

Yep. So between the "hey it's the Knicks so let's use them to drum up interest", there's also the biggest salary cap and clear and obvious need departments that will see the Knicks rumored to be in the middle of everything.
