I like Morant but I would stick with DSJ for now. Both have similar upside but DSJ is more proven and plays defense. Let’s say the Knicks decide to give DSJ another shot at starting PG next year and he regresses, I would then look to replace him with someone like Cole Anthony, RJ Hampton or Theo Maledon

beg pardon ?

in the eyes of 3toheadmelo, this is how he sees dsj's defense.

Talk like opinion is fact.
Get proven wrong by the reality of it.
Come back next time acting like opinion is fact again.

Morant’s slight frame is a worry while as to DSJ we saw him move guys like Ibaka and Drummond in midair like they were nothing.

Ja will have greater trade value than DSJ given the novelty factor but I think a lot of guys here are sleeping on DSJ. His defense was also a lot better than I expected and he has this attitude of not wanting opposing players to punk our team.

The ideal scenario really for me if Ja somehow lands to us will be to trade him to the Suns for the #6 and an unprotected 2020 pick.

dsj is more proven in that he’s proven he’s not that good.

Yeah I forgot to mention his frame also. I would assume he would get stronger in due time and it won't be as much as an issue though but good point.

I agree that cats over here sleeping on DSJ too. At one point everybody was on his d*ck but since he got hurt and his play got worse later in the season, he's a bum all of a sudden  . He showed enough flashes for me that he can be really good so Idgaf what they wanna say about him. It was also really refreshing to see someone stick up for our team and play defense at the point guard position. I love his mindset. We ain't have somebody like that in a minute.

I am not sure if the Suns would do that trade (although I'm all for it) cause appareantly the Suns gave a promise to Darius Garland. They probably will just stick with him instead of trading for Ja with us.

Read on Twitter

Bazley is the kid who passed on going to syracuse and then the g league for a $1 mil new balance "internship" while training for the draft. Yeah he's rail thin, but i like what I see here. Looks like he might be available in the 50s. Measured 6'7 3/4" without shoes, 7 foot wingspan and 208 lbs at the combine.

There's going to be some player who really could have been a 1st rounder that drops to the Knicks at the bottom of the 2nd and maybe the Knicks FO is savvy enough to identify who it is and take them.

Lmao. Ja Morant will be an all star. While DSJ will continuallly bounce from team to team as a mediocre player. Book it. This ain’t even close
DSJ could never shout the rock and folks here thinking
That he will suddenly develop a shot. Good luck
Get rid of him now and take Morant if there or Garland

Breaking News: KP threatened to go back to Europe of he wasn’t traded in 7 days and we already had the best trade lined up. If you don’t trust this front office I think you should.

there are maybe 5-8 guys that are #1 material on a finals level team in the whole league.

it is an incredibly high bar.
