Hey I've been saying well before Phil Jackson was hired that the Knicks should be taking some if the GDP of many 3rd world nations they've spent on crap players and GMs and actually go get the best front office exec out there. But nope they got Phil Jackson.

IIRC, I argued that we should go after Presti before he first joined the Thunder in 2007. So naaah!

But yeah. It doesn't make any sense why we've never done this. The current front office is the closest. Walsh tried.

Yep the salary cap prevents big pocketed teams from landing the best players but there's no salary cap for front office salaries. Its mind boggling for sure.

That failure in the Jordan Hill draft was too costly for me on that Walsh regime.

I love how they play the long term upside card and just common sense moves. They were on pace for 50 wins in a normal season, but still had the balls to reset. They cashed out perfectly.
