Realistically, only a fool would trade for Kyrie so this is probably as good as it gets, especially since the Clippers were offering complete ass.

Either way, Leon Rose may want to consider clearing cap for Luka, who is going to ask out once Kyrie sets fire to the place. It's not a matter of if lol

It's just my objective opinion but I think the Knicks have a realistic shot at Luka. That situation in Dallas is a ticking time bomb, even worse now. That's why you guys should be glad we didn't trade Kyrie to the Lakers or Clippers

We got back a guard who shouldn’t have left and added a very good 3&D wing next to Royce, Claxton. Opening a roster spot by moving Morris.

Worked out well compared to that horrible Lakers package with Russ.

just saw your window to compete for a championship killed and needed to run to the knicks board to tell us you're happy about it. sad times.

I mean when you think there’s a good chance you will end up with a team that has Ben Simmons and Russell Westbrick then you at least have an opportunity to look at the brighter side of things

don't know if there is any truth to it but those 2 laker picks would have been better than what they just got.

Durant definitely next to ask out. The summer is going to be interesting.

The Lakers would have been utterly (Please Use More Appropriate Word) to offer two FRPs 4 and 6 years into the future if they weren't like heavily protected. Also keep in mind that Irving, despite his offensive prowess is no Lebron or so.....keep in mind the Celtics completely demolished a fully healthy Nets squad last season.

This is a win/win for the Mavs.

Dinwiddie’s contract is ass and Finney-Smith is a 30 year old role player. A 2029 pick is basically irrelevant right now. It’s a low risk, high reward for the Mavs only if they don’t give Kyrie a long term deal.

If they give Kyrie a long term max deal then the trade is worse. But if they only give Kyrie a 1 or 2 year extension then it’s not too bad. They get out from under bad deals and can open up cap space when Kyrie leaves.

Eh it was already the 18th pick without him and there’s 28 games left maybe they push it into the 20s but it doesn’t make much of a difference tbh

I’m fairly certain they will give him a long term max deal because if they don’t he will go sign with someone else who will pay him

If Durant indicated that he wanted out, sure. If not then the Mavs offer was the one to take.

A lot of back court usage, and no defense. The Mavs aren’t that much better.

I'm dead ass about Luka and the Knicks. I think it's possible.

I don't think Kyrie will have the impact that people think in Dallas. Luka is more ball dominant than Harden and KD, i can't see this ending well for them.

Luka is the one who pressed Cuban to make a move because he knew the team they had currently was ass

The trade happened with no guarantees of an extension. Which is crazy.

Would you be shocked if Kyrie is out of the league next season? I would not.
