Yeah, I know. I'm kinda dreaming on the two-lottery pick scenario. Wish we could get both Haliburton and Mannion. Backcourt sewn up for 10+ years. High BBIQ, unselfish, shooting, and ball-movers.

Not enough dribble penetration in that duo. I prefer Haliburton of the 2.

Shooting/passing is more important. We got RJ for penetration.

- Has lacked a level of aggressiveness from a very early age. Not as dynamic or explosive a scorer as many teams like to see from their modern PG. Just an average athlete in terms of pure speed and shiftiness. Looks too focused at times on minimizing mistakes. Will likely be best suited operating alongside a scoring guard who can shoulder the bulk of the shot-creation responsibilities, at least early on in his career.

Scouts are still trying to figure out what to make of Maledon's ceiling. He has incredible poise for an 18-year-old, and his work ethic is tireless. But you'll often hear Frank Ntilikina comparisons from NBA scouts regarding Maledon's risk-averse style of play. For Maledon, it's important to reestablish his productivity from last year to maintain his draft stock.

And those comparisons are from NBA scouts and Draftexpress. You know, people who scout for a living. Go watch a game or two cause you clearly are off, once again.

The Knicks don't need another Frank. This is not hating on Frank but rather on the reality is that if the Knicks come out of this upcoming draft with another Frank they will have wasted a(nother) draft pick.

There really isn't a need to try to get too cute. Barring a miracle, the Knicks are going to have another lottery pick and that pick is likely in the top 5. The top 5 of this draft is probably locked into a set of 7-8 guys tops. That's the boundaries of what you stay in.

They don't need to be looking for the next Kawhi Leonard or Tony Parker. Just as they took Barrett cause that's the guy they should have picked, and regardless of whether someone picked later in the lottery turns out to be better, you stick to the guys you're supposed to be picking between.

If the Knicks get a top 3 pick you pick from the top 3 right now (Edwards, Wiseman or Ball). If you get the 3rd pick, just like this year, you take whomever of the 3 is left. If you get a top 5 pick then you add in Anthony and whomever. If you get the 5th pick, then you pick whomever is left. Etc. Etc.

The "brain work" is with other picks that aren't so obvious. If the Knicks land another mid-late 1st round pick or 2 by trading their vets. The 2nd round picks they have. That's where the hard part starts.

No one on this team is locked in so much that you can't simply got BPA with that lottery pick.

Yeah I really like Mannion. If the Knicks rise keeps rising, then he would definitely be an interesting target in the 7-10 range.

I think Mannion is as talented as Cole Anthony. I do not see a significant gap there. Kid can really play and he has that swag/energy that screams NY. He'd actually in my top 4 right now. Disclaimer: I have not seen LaMelo Ball play a full game.
