I thought at the deadline last year he was setting up all his contracts to make a play for Siakam...To eventually pair KP with Siakam long term which I think is an awesome unique pairing. But I will wait to see what his plans are.

looking at your roster we definitely could, but interested to see this year how big of an advantage that 5th year is

Mehhhhh it's alright. I have acquired more future picks in place of flexibility next offseason. I will still have flexibility the "reset" offseason. Like I have said before, the only guy I regret trading is WCJ. Everyone else has been expendable. I am not someone who patiently sits and waits around. That's no fun. I would rather have fun making deals than do what might ultimately be the absolute best option for my team.

I know a lot of people aren’t big on Knox, but acquiring his $20/2 deal without giving anything up but Capspace was a no brainer for me. I’ve seen enough potential at only 20yrs old to make me believe he could be a diamond in the rough given time and patience. I admit he’s a project, but I’m excited about watching one of my players develop. I’m hoping he will be coached the right way, or traded to a functional system. I see it as a low risk, possible high reward acquisition. All the best to Kevin Knox. I’m rooting for you kid!

Can’t comment on anything until it’s official, but bowing out of free agency is a good move for everyone except those willing to use bird rights.
