Kd and kyrie don’t need a pg like ja to set them up they get theirs. They need players who can shoot and move without the ball to give them space. ja gonna be standing in the corner useless while kd and kyrie dominate the ball.
and I’ve seen garland listed as tall as 6’4 online. idk how tall he exactly is gotta wait for the combine but he’s noticeably bigger then trey to me. can’t speak for you.
See this is where I'm at in the whole Garland/Morant discussion. If you know Kyrie is going to sign with NY then Garland is a better fit because his skill set (shooting) compliments your roster.
As much as I like Morant, his entire gsme is predicated on being a ball dominant PG who creates for others. Two ball dominant PGs don't work. It could work but you'd need to have an acknowledged offensive mind to build and design that offense. Ironically Mike D'Antoni would be the guy I'd hire to design and run such an offense.
Fizdale hasn't shown that he possesses chops on that level so I'd never task him with pulling off something that maybe 5 living coaches could pull off.
