kd would be silly to go to this team without another big positive player.
The key is to not panic if plan A fails. They should have plan B, C and D already mapped out. The last thing this team needs is to bury itself in mediocrity by making knee jerk signings or trades if Durant and/or Kawhi goes elsewhere.

There's no one way to build a successful franchise. There are a lot of ways to ruin a franchise as Knick fans have seen ever since Ewing was traded away for overpriced role players and low ceiling assets.

Fawk it. Keep Barrett and let’s get a goon at PF like Morris or grab randle. Grab Taco and let the youngins get them stripes. Perry was with the 2000 pistons. All we needa do is find us a Rasheed Wallace in one of these free agencies or trades and we good. Let’s build a balanced team organically like mills is claiming.

Her comeback will be more glorious than KD's

All this time I thought she blocked me

She blocked me as well on the last day she was posting here. I think it was because I ranked Curry as top 6 player and she had him in top 3 she got very angry with me.

I was all for trading him if it meant AD was our 3rd max. Now I am 50/50. If we sign Irving it is palatable to trade for AD. If we sign nobody I do not want AD.

I lived in Cambodia 5 years. Moved there in 2012, met my wife who is Cambodian in 2013.

I love it there but we moved back to USA for our kids to go to school here.

Randle would probably demand a long term deal. Though Young im not sure the feelings are mutual.

Exactly. Trading KP put the Knicks IN PLAY for FA's this year, but it wasn't the only reason for it happening.

It was also about not committing max dollars to guy the Knicks felt wasn't worth it, for whatever combination of talent, health, attitude it was.

I'd like to think, and it seems to be so based on interviews, that trading KP was as much about resetting the rebuild and getting the franchise level and right for the next stage of the rebuild. It's a tough call, one that takes guts. Pulling the plug on a very good, very promising young player, but making a determination that maybe his presence, in terms of play AND cap AND attitude would lock the franchise into a holding pattern they felt wouldn't be worth it, for the next 5 years. Or that he'd bolt after an extension and they'd get even less then they got.

TLDR - trading KP and freeing up cap space wasn't just about this offseason. It was about the next 5 offseasons.

I argued with people that said he would dunk better because of his longer arms. I sat through an entire season of game threads that were ruined with people crying that Frank wasnt getting enough minutes. One was made a mod. That was trolling and it was done every single game thread. If you really loved Frank coming out im just saying maybe you should hold your breath until you figure out what you did wrong.
