Grizz are another team that's gonna be tough to knock from playoff seeding. The Mavs are effed.

Better for us cause it’s making it harder for the Mavs to make it in the playoffs 8-)

Wall isn't setting him up Wall is looking to score more than pass. Wood gets most of his buckets on his own

70% of Wood's offense on 2 pointers is assisted and 96% of his 3's are assisted as well.

He was assisted slightly more in Detroit, who was setting him up then? And there's nothing wrong with a finisher, I wish we had that instead of Teen Wolf devouring every possession. Wood touches the ball 20 times less per game than Randle and scores more with less possessions.

Wood > Randle

They count everything as an assist even if you dribble and score from 3 to the cup. Dude was playing like this way before John Wall

they don't even back JJJ back yet

I'm still not ready to declare the Mavs a lotto team yet (don't wanna get my hopes up), but they face an uphill climb being 13th in the West rn

Has Wood ever played with Payton before? Does Wood play defense? I rest my case.

Randle also handed Wood L's every time he played him last season. Lol

CP3 looked at him like bro you ok

He’s taking these losses too much to heart. I also think the Mavs might fire Carlisle or do a trade that hurts them long term. His tantrums probably got the FO shook.

Last year Bruce Brown was playing PG for the Pistons and Wood was eating. There's no way Randle could ever play with a PG that actually deserves to have the ball in their hands too, watch what happens when the offense still sucks when Quickley is starting. Wood is the starting center for the 3rd best defensive team in the league, if you giving props to Randle playing defense cause we're top 10, how can you say Wood isn't playing defense?

If we talking wins and losses, Randle has never been above .500 beyond January, he's right on track. He's the epitome of a losing player

Bottom 5 offense in the league, dead last in PPG, 2nd to last in apg and slowest pace in the league. That sounds like a team with Julius playing PG.

Bruce brown is 10x better than Payton  and he also had Rose too. And no the offense doesn’t still suck with Quickley and Randle. There’s a reason why Randle-RJ-IQ is the best net rating on the team.

I know you’re not talking about losing when Randle always handed him L’s and he has a worse winning percentage than Randle for his career. Wood is winning because he has Wall, Oladipo and stud defenders around him. Let’s keep it 100.

Yes, just like Thibs likes it

In all seriousness we all say all the time this roster needs a PG and a Wing, because it does. We don’t got a lot of good talent. We’re over achieving until we get better talent. Wood is on a team with better talent. :dontknow:

Why does the PG matter for Randle? He has the ball more than anyone else on our team. You missing a key point, it's that there's no way that Randle could ever play like Wood is playing off Wall or Oladipo or whoever, cause Randle needs the ball in his hands. When Quickley starts and people finally notice how much Randle has the ball, it'll put a smile on my face. Our offense didn't look any better in the 2nd half of the game tonight, we still struggled to score and teen wolf was on the ball more than IQ.

Randle had AD and Holiday, they had a losing record when Randle started, despite putting up numbers. Randle could never, ever, ever play with Wall or Oladipo, he literally has the ball more than Wall does on the Rockets  The Rockets got one of the few 3 & Blocks big men in the league, we got the Tasmania devil :(

Pelicans was literally full of injuries that year. Payton played most of his minutes with Randle also.

The PG matters because we don’t have a great one. So of course Randle is gonna have the ball in his hands most of the time when Payton is his starting PG. You keep missing that big point.

Also pretty much in all of the games IQ has went
off, Randle was feeding him and let him do his thing. So you’re off there.

Lastly, Randle still handed him L’s last year and has a better winning% for his career over Wood. Loser  good night
