Idk why you guys are even talking so much about Mikal every single day.. nets aren't trading him and we would have to give up a bunch of picks and players to meet the Nets demand. Those guys already turned down Jalen Green and picks. It's just not happening.

Give me Ingram for cheaper who's a much better player at full strength.

Well, as always, it is an exaggeration or even false because Bridges does in fact still play lockdown defense and Ingram never has.

 How much Nets games have you seen in the past 2 years?

Sure, DSJ, why not? If we're trying to bring back Fizdale culture, why not Mudiay? 8-)

Brunson - 45 mil
Randle - 40 mil
OG- 35 mil
Hart - 20 mil
Donte - 12 mil

152 mil in salary. I’m not even counting Ihart yet lol Ingram only makes sense if we’re trading Randle and I would rather keep Randle otherwise there’s no room for Ingram’s salary in terms of cap. Also Ingram is due for a contract and he’ll probably command 40 mil lol

SInce being miscast as a first option without an elite playmaker to help, Bridges Defense has taken a major hit. Good news is that on the Knicks he's a 3rd option with more help. Ingram is talented but like towns he's kinda empty stat ish and lacks awareness imo.

Yeah a lot of people haven't kept up with him but he's become a really good defender since he left the Knicks. Wouldn't mind seeing him be that ball handler off the bench while Deuce can be that 3 and d guy.

Sure, but who?

Look around the league. What attainable under the radar center gems are there? I looked and there isn’t much, and none better than Isaiah who we know already fits.

We got Mitch so we dont need another pure rim runner. Isaiah is more than that, and can still get better.

Whatever happens happens though. Isaiah took a 2 year deal knowing we wouldnt have his full bird rights. We can still offer him 18 mill a year, which is a very fine offer, but he can easily get 20-25 with the new CBA and cap hikes coming. If he goes we’ll just have to have faith we can strike gold again.

Some names that will be out there.

Jonas Valanciunas
Richaun Holmes
James Wiseman
N.Claxton
Moritz Wagner
Daniel Theis
Masom Plumlee
Alex Len

We dont have the space for Claxton or Jonas, and Isaiah is better anyway.

The rest of them are clearly not as good, and only mediocre backups at best.

Im also talking about trade candidates. There just isnt much out there. Fans have a grass is greener syndrome and dont realize what they have on their own team. We need to keep Isaiah, unless we really do have some great alternative lined up.

I wasn't saying i wanted any of them or comparing any of them to IHart, you asked who was out there so i gave some of the names of some centers that are going to be out there.

Doesn't Ingram have some of the Bridges issues, in that they are 3s who can only kind of play like 2s?

Ingram brings more offense, that additional 3 level creator, but injury history and less defense
Bridges brings more defense (or used to), not really an elite 3 level creator, more defense, mostly healthy

Just not sure

Brunson
Ingram or Bridges
OG
Randle
iShart

Really works.

Mostly healthy? I don't think Mikal has ever missed a game.

Let’s say we do Donte, Mitch and picks for Ingram.

Our cap would look

Brunson - 45 mil
Randle - 40 mil
Ingram - 40 mil
OG - 35 mil
Hart - 20 mil
Hartenstein - 17 mil

I’m guessing we would decline Bojan. The total cap would still be 197 mil with these moves.

It’s not feasible to build around 3 max stars anymore. The new CBA won’t allow it.

Deuce >>>> DSJ

It’s not even close. At 23 he had a better year than DSJ ever had. Not sure why we would want somone who is worst, older, and more expensive

Worth noting in the last 2 years Ingram has played 70% of his minutes at SG and 30% at SF. He truthfully hasn’t played SF primarily since 2021

He’s also played about 50% of his games.

We don’t need any more guys made of glass.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Whoever wants KAT and Ingram needs to be banned.

If a player is going to detract from the immaculate vibes, then you don't bring him in. Period.

Mikal, on the other hand, can have a force multiplier effect on the chemistry... One Nova guy (Brunson) took us to 25%... the second Nova guy (Hart) took us to 50%... the third Nova guy took us to 75%... bring in that 4th Nova guy and you'll be at 100% flux capacity. There's no higher capacity.

Almost feel like we have become too obsessed with defense. We already have defense. One of the best in the league if our core is playing.

We need more ball handlers and shot creators/makers. Guys who can create, break down the defense a little, run a PnR, throw a lob.
