McFaul is the former Ambassador to Russia under Obama

In 2018 in Helsinki Putin asked Trump if Russia could interrogate McFaul about his connections to Bill Browder whom Putin wants dead for his role in passing the Magintsky Act which created trade sanctions against Russia.

Trump actually said the proposal to give McFaul to Putin was "an interesting idea" because Trump is such a steaming pile of treasonous garbage.

The Senate rebuked Trump with a non-binding vote of 98-0 saying no American diplomat should ever surrendered to the Russians for interrogation.

So McFaul's saga with Trump was the only time I'm aware of when the Senate unanimously stood against Trump. He backed down, but that he even pondered Putin's request was an act of treason IMO.

Wow, it's official, Project Lincoln is now leasing the real estate inside Donald Trump's head.

When Bunker Boy sees this he's going to soil his man diaper.

If you ever wonder if your soul mate is out there waiting to find you, I think you'll be comforted that Stephen "Dr. Forehead" Miller found his once in a lifetime love match on the job at the white house. Gosh, that Katie Miller, she sure is swell

And him and his staff are very busy collaborating with others to get input to build out their policy platform and their coalition within the party.

Only a lazy and misinformed person would claim Biden is not active or making public appearances.

I do hope Tucker Carlson goes into politics and drags down the GOP even more. This fukwit has become one of Trump's primary strategists. His answer to Trump's troubles was to double down on the dog whistles. Great advice. He is the preppy version of Trump now, but they are still all clowns.

His campaign released a plan. Wow.

I would be very happen if he simply adopted the Task Force platform in total and go back into the closet. If he adopted it, he'd be the most progressive President since FDR. So, we'll see.

By the way, as I recall, you were very happy with the Hiden Biden strategy, which produced these great poll numbers. Let's face it, no one is voting for Joe Biden for his policies. But if he wants to do the right thing, he'll take this opportunity to move to the left.

Bad day for Bunker Boy

BLM painted on 5th Avenue in front of Trump Tower

Supreme Court ruled New York grand jury now gets Trump's tax filings. Ruled against releasing them to Congress (for now).

Roberts wrote the opinions:

“No citizen, not even the president, is categorically above the common duty to produce evidence when called upon in a criminal proceeding,” Chief Justice John G. Roberts wrote for the majority.

on the second ruling:

"In a separate decision the court ruled that Congress could not, at least for now, see many of the same records. It said the case should be returned to a lower court to narrow the parameters of the information it sought."

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/09/us/trump-taxes-supreme-court.htm

Both were 7-2. Gorsuch, Roberts and Kavanaugh sided with the liberal faction to release records to New York. This was a decisive rebuke against executive powers and basically established no one is above the law so it is overall a very good day for democracy.

The upshot is we won't likely have Congress releasing dirt on Trump from his tax filings anytime soon since it has to go back to the lower courts.

But it does mean NY State is going to be ready to indict and arrest Trump. He's going to see the court room now.

NY State probably won't try to arrest a sitting a president since that is very murky waters, but they certainly have the ability to indict him before the election or the final transition of power.

Big power move would be to indict Trump in October to put the final nail into his re-election bid and I would not put that out of the realm of possibility. It would be more devastating than Comey's stunt against Clinton in late October 2016.

And indicting Trump means we'd get the first glimpse into exactly how bad his tax filings are, because a list of charges would be made public and probably would send Trump to the worst presidential loss in history if they do pull the trigger. I hope they do.

Biden wants to train police officers to shoot suspects in the leg?

While addressing a crowd at the Bethel AME Church in Wilmington, Del., Biden suggested that law enforcement training could include “teaching a cop when there’s an unarmed person, coming at him with a knife or something, to shoot him in the leg instead of the heart.”
