I understand the theory, but when I tried to figure out something a couple of nights ago all I got to was Conley, Horton Tucker and filler. Not sure that's really better than DFS (who is pretty great at what he does) and dinwiddie (and a FRP). Or are the raps going to give Brooklyn OG for the LA picks?

What's a realistic better deal for Marks?

Lakers can give around 30M. Irving Max should be around 40M.

If Irving gets upset, he can take a one-year deal at discount. He is that crazy.

Furthermore, some desperate franchise can max him. The rockets and Hornets will have a lot of cap space.
