Players were asked to clean it the f*ck up and get their acts together, felt threatened and confused.

It's funny when he's not on my team.

I can't stand players who when they're traded are on their best behavior because their normal behavior is to act stupid. PHUCK Jr Smiff I don't give a F what some moderator says. :o

its no secret people are playing for a contract, and the rest are under the spotlight waiting if/when theyre going to be traded. pretty much the same reason everybody here says were losing. nobody's going to be here next season.

Jimmy Butler is on the verge of commanding 12-16 mill a year at the rate he's going. I'm not sure Iman is a rotation player next year.

This is what he was accustomed to.
“Guys not practicing ‘cause they didn’t want to. Guys just literally come to practice, practice for an hour and then everybody leave and not say a word. I think you had a lot of personalities and guys who were great on individual levels. It just wasn’t, they just weren’t a team. We weren’t a team.”

This is what he got.

"It’s almost too much thinking,’’ Smith told The Post
“I just got to get back to getting into my package, playing in a different offense for 37 games, I really wasn’t allowed to do what I normally did and I’m trying to get back to that,’’
“There’s been a lot of talk that they want to clear house over there,’’ he said.

Don't think he understood what culture change meant.

“My motto is ‘When in doubt, shoot the ball,’’’ J.R. said with a smile.

So, basically JR hasn't learned anything at all. Good luck...okay, not really.

I can understand that some guys would play with minimum effort if they knew they would be gone, but why not play with maximum effort to show you should stay?

It not only helps the team, but it also helps you in the long run. Even if you still aren't in the long-term plans with the Knicks, other teams can then look at you with a higher regard and offer you a bigger contract because of the things you can bring to the table.

First of all, recognize you won’t be able to convert everyone at once, start with people who have disproportionate influence in the organization. Get them committed to the change, or, failing that, get them out.

Actually, he only have to get rid of Calderon and only because of the money we still owe him. Remember if Cleanthony and Thanasis ever develop into good players, I don't want people to continue complain about that Tyson trade.
I will only cherish the wins and ignore everything else, because that's the only way to survive as a Knicks fan.

Make no mistake - "Or Whatever..." was priority #1 to move. Bargs would have been but you can just send him home with no dinner and he'll put his tail between his legs and go.

Which is why nobody can fairly judge Fisher or Phil this season. This was a sunken ship from day one.

except day one you predicted 40-43 wins max.. thats quite a drop. granted there are people here who thought we could win the division, and now cry we never had the players. fugazi's. but the majority, including Phil and Fish, thought we were good enough to compete for the 8th seed at least. and since they failed to achieve what they flat out said they wanted to do, its more then fair to judge.

JR Smith was injured most of the year so is your question addressed to the rest of his teammates?
