If the Knicks trade Kristaps Porzingis, they can turn one star into 2-3 future stars, with some of those stars more potential than Kristaps Porzingis (*cough* Josh Jackson, who I've seen play in Prolific Prep against another prospect Seventh Woods)

In addition to that, our OWN Picks will be higher for a while.

It's pretty much the very opposite of the way the Knicks were run in the 2000's.

The hope NORMAL NBA TEAMS HAVE!!!!! We could go from having no young players (2000's) to have too many young players with high upside for a guy who may leave in Free Agency in 2 years, one of them a very real chance of being an NBA cornerstone post-Lebron in Josh Jackson. I would strut his Knicks jersey the second I can. Josh Jackson is absolutely going to average 20+ PPG or more.

That said, if Kristaps Porzingis is to be traded, it has to be traded in RARE and godly circumstances with a Kings Random with only Josh Jackson included.

If the Celtics want him that bad, have them give up A LOT of their first round picks.

Why would you trade a guaranteed star in KP for the potential of a star in Jackson. It makes no sense

We are going to bust out on these picks

This is insane

This reminds me of the rivalry I had with my Assistant Principal back in 7th grade.

bro. how!? have you not read what the guys here have been saying? he disrespected his employer straight up.

Any boss that trashes his employee on Twitter and in public does not know how to conduct business properly. These players might make a lot of money but don't let that cross you with how important their ego is and the respect they feel they should get. It doesn't matter if you or I agree with it or not.

I'm also good trading away every single cot damn player and the whole damn team for young players & draft picks. Hopefully the Knicks get Josh Jackson in all of this, and if they did, you don't give him up years later, because the Knicks will finally have their superstar & juicy robust picks & young players up the wazoo.

This also will make the Knicks pick higher for a while in the interim.

Isn't the Sam Hinkie rebuild what Knick fans WANTED? Start over with JOSH JACKSON & Frank Nktilina (or Dennis Smith Jr), and whoever else you get. Enjoy the pick overflow.

I love Kristaps Porzingis, but getting Josh Jackson + assets is not so bad for him, and you have to give to get in this league. The team needs to be scorched earthed. You'd rather have Kristaps Porzingis leave the Knicks and you don't get a potential NBA cornerstone & face in Josh Jackson while you can? It's not like anybody was optimistic on this team with Porzingis in it beforehand.

Now that Sam Hinkie land has a real chance of happening, I see that some people have some cold feet about a real rebuild. Let's not fuel those idiots in the media who say the Knick FANS don't want to rebuild like Philadelphia 76ers. Nuclear bomb this team and do what the Philadelphia 76ers have done

Any other prospect besides Josh Jackson and I agree it's a disaster.

  Do people realize that KP can't leave? Even if he wanted to, he'd have to play out these 2 remaining years then an additional QO year. 3 years minimum under the Knicks control.

Kristaps went caping for Carmelo, and now he's stuck not knowing what to do, while Carmelo has gone on about his business.

This is what happens when you try to get cool points.

I'm out of the loop. Why has Phil come out in wanting to trade KP? Did he disrespect him or something?

I don't really think KP was really thinking about Melo.

I think he literally doesn't like how we are ran or how we see him in our future plans.

Phil wants dude to get a post up game and chill with so many 3's. Phil is hell bent on the triangle and having Rambis around. Add that to Phil's stupidity and you have a bad mix.

Not necessarily. I don't want Phil doing it. He's going to fuq up.
