I was happy with the press conference. Perry really just gives the aura of a guy who knows what he is doing and is in control. It might be the new car smell but I like our gm so far.

Keeping Melo is better than making a deal just to make a deal. Even if it hurts the tank. Funny thing is I laughed for the past few years at anyone who actually thought our team was going to make any noise.

This year if Melo stays I actually think we might be in play for the 8th seed. Especially with teams like Indiana, Bulls and Hawks getting worse and probably not playoff teams anymore. There really is no one but the Cavs and Cs who are locks in the east. Even the craptors are going to decline now that Fat Lowry got his money and I bet he is going to start going into the decline with his age and injury history.

That being said the best thing for this franchise is for Melo to open his list to more teams and us to get the best deal possible. Whatever that is. And to move toward the tank.

But alas don't be surprised if we are a playoff team and Melo plays out the season here.

melo needs to go, cannot have locker room distractions when the goal is to build young talent. the focus needs to be on young talent...ship him to HOU for anderson and 2 future first rd picks.

I didn't say he would be a bust, but if I'm given the choice of Steve Francis or nothing at all, I'm picking nothing at all every day of the week and twice on Sunday. That type of player does not win in the NBA.

This is a contract year. Has nothing to do with redemption. He will want his money and you will see the best possible Melo this season.

Steve Francis was a multiple time all star. But you would rather not have him. Ok then. Carry on.

He came to the club I work at. He drives a white challenger. He's tall but wild skinny.
