I wonder if JB has a chance to be an all star now

Wondering the same. It wouldn’t make sense for Kyrie to represent the East, and he fills a natural hole left by Curry. The question is whether JB beats out Trae though.

Assuming this was not sarcastc font, JB >>>>>Trae. Not close.

I don't disagree, but I also don't see us getting two all-stars, while teams like Atlanta (Trae) and Toronto (Siakam) get none.

I think Harden will get the nod.

Has this happened before? What’s the precedent. I am assuming it would be for Kyrie to still represent the East, but he is legit going west prior and hey have a spot. Does it being a guard who is leaving factor in at all?

Yeah, this is new territory - at least it's something I haven't seen before. Since the West would be getting an extra all-star, I think to be fair, they should just increase the all-star roster spots by one. This would give the East (two) to make up for the loss for Kyrie.

Maybe Brunson gets in that way.

Nets have been the WORST attempt at a quick fix SuperTeam of any sport. It's LEGENDARILY bad.

And I LOVE IT!

Can't wait for the 30 for 30 on this ish...

It will be fascinating to see what Dallas does about a new contract for Kyrie. You KNOW he's going to push for the max. But seriously, how can u pay a guy max when he ALWAYS wheedles his way out of playing half the games? I suppose it will come down to how much more money having him makes them. Gotta figure once Kyrie starts pulling his sh*t that Doncic is going to sour on him.

Kooky konspiracy Kyrie should feel at home in Texas...
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

We got back a guard who shouldn’t have left and added a very good 3&D wing next to Royce, Claxton. Opening a roster spot by moving Morris.

Worked out well compared to that horrible Lakers package with Russ.

just saw your window to compete for a championship killed and needed to run to the knicks board to tell us you're happy about it. sad times.

The window actually opened up lol

The window is always open unless KD closes it.

Why are Lakers fans complaining about the Kyrie Irving deal being one sided and unfair when their franchise's entire history is built on the affirmative action of the league?

What’s really crazy is this is literally right after they sort of overcame the fiasco of trading all those picks for KG, Pierce, Deron, and Crash…. Now they are basically in a worst spot and we haven’t seen what the majority of their picks turn into but I won’t be pretty if they mismanage KD.

Nothing will change. There is no more East/West in the all star game.

There are 2 captains who take turns picking their team, playground style.

Kyrie will remain in the all-star game and there won't be a replacement.
New York said Mitchell wasn't the guy you trade the sink for, then they traded it for Mikal, lol.

You’re getting the way the teams are constructed mixed up with the pool of players. That’s another reason why the question is will Kyrie just go into the pool of players from the west. Before the draft he would have likely just stayed representing the team he was selected to be an all star for.

This could be the greatest day in Knicks history as Luka Doncic may soon be fed up with the Dallas Mavericks lol

Return to New York Knicks
