Re: Knicks sign Hardaway
Whether we like it or not, i think this THJ move makes it more likely that we'd take R.Anderson back in a Melo trade. I just hope if we do that we get at least one good asset to come our way with him whether it's a draft pick or a young player.

Harris played KP when they played us Morris played melo...you are not correct.
When John Leaur started Morris played SF too
Tweener.
SF/PF
correct but with Horford at the 5 its a horrible front court in terms of interior defense and rebounding.
What happened?

Maybe if we cannot did an offer for tim, we could try to land KCP...

Not even Derrick Rose could've stopped him from getting his if he was on the roster last season.
That right there is what I need from KP.
No one can stop you from getting yours.

No way. Dude is 6'5 and not strong enough for the 3.
D.Dotson played the 3 at Houston so i could see him playing a lot of SF for us with L.Thomas and Kuz getting some as well.

Well I wouldn't say that. I liked Aliens 2 way more than the first one.

Noah played 29 games the season before
THJ played 79 games the season before
Noah lost his starting job on a non playoff team
THJ gained the starting job on a playoff team
Noah was coming off a year of career low scoring and shooting
THJ was coming off a year of career high scoring and shooting
Noah was coming in to start over a young prospect
THJ is coming in to start over an older player
Noah was 31 when he signed
THJ was 25 when he signed
I'm not defending the signing. I would of stopped at 14 per, IF I was even interested in signing THJ, which I wasn't. But using this to boost PJax is ridiculous.
This is not a soapbox
If your best argument is that this signing isn't as bad as the worst contract in the league then you have a poor argument.
Then you misunderstood the entire argument
I said this move is not a reason to praise PJax
That's it. I even said I'm NOT defending the signing. See bold.
No response?

Re: Knicks sign Hardaway
If we dump Lee to take on a younger better player like THJ it could be worth the extra 5-6 million a year that he will make more than lee does now

I'm sure Timmy's defense will continue to improve after getting paid and with the great Jeff Hornacek and Kurt Rambis here to teach and guide him
his game will take off here in NY, no doubt

D is banned in the NBA. His game is more SF-ish. Then again his assists were much better than I expected. Just under 3 at only 27 MPG.
EDIT: 2.3 assists. My bad.

Am I wrong for loving that starting 5?
Nah.
- 4/5 of our starting lineup is 25 and under next year.
- THJ compliments Ntlikina in every way. More of the aggressor with scorers mentality.
- Makes Ntlikina pick even more brilliant. Ntlikina takes the tougher assignment for the next 5 years.
- Next year is a wing heavy draft. Address the 3 next year.
Next year isn't that wing heavy imo (I'm not feeling Porter really) but Tim can run the 3 when we get Hami in the draft. I've been watching the U19s and he's killing it. Handles are way improved from before he went to KU.

D is not 'banned' in the NBA and nothing about his game is more SF-ish. Positions are trite in the NBA.

Not really a lot better for next season, but they will get better and better over time as Tatum and their other picks develop

i thought he was gonna be smart enough to just hold the fort until the next guy was hired. steve never had to do anything. he could keep this job forever and just watch other people f*ck up. now he put himself on the clock with this move. this man don't even understand job preservation.
