Am I wrong for loving that starting 5?

Nah.

- 4/5 of our starting lineup is 25 and under next year.
- THJ compliments Ntlikina in every way. More of the aggressor with scorers mentality.
- Makes Ntlikina pick even more brilliant. Ntlikina takes the tougher assignment for the next 5 years.
- Next year is a wing heavy draft. Address the 3 next year.

Why you are not on board with small ball? We cant have KP chasing perimeter players all his career

Next year isn't that wing heavy imo (I'm not feeling Porter really) but Tim can run the 3 when we get Hami in the draft. I've been watching the U19s and he's killing it. Handles are way improved from before he went to KU.

Doncic, Porter, Bridges...

Diallo is going to be a star. Can't wait to see him with Kentucky.

Knicks corrected a big mistake. He's going to open the floor up big time for KP.

Ray Allen 2.0 if Ray Allen was homeless and missing his arms and legs.

He is not the well polished and consistent baller Ray Allen was out the block.
But their games are very similar and with his new found confidence, I stand by my statement that his peak will mirror Ray Allen(with lower %'s b/c he just isn't as consistent as Ray.)

I want KP at the 5 as much as anyone, but what do we do with Willy? I've always been cool with trading him if it can net us a young wing.

they just trade avery bradley for marcus morris straight up to shed enough salary for Hayward.

Right now they look like this

IT3
Smart
Hayward
Morris
Horford

I can't say thats better than

IT3
Bradley
Crowder
(revolving door)
Horford

to be honest...did the celtics get that much better?

I think they base a lot of their growth on how their young guys develop. Adding on free agents is just extra sauce. They are banking their future on the likes of Jaylen Brown, Tatum, and Rozier.

So DET took Marcus in a salary dump, then flipped him for one of the better SGs in the NBA.

SVG is terrible at contract negotiations, but he keeps winning trades.
