I don't trust this Philly team going into Atlanta and winning 2. Hawks took one there already and if they play them the way they played us when they went home, it's going to be a wrap.

I think the Sixers have figured out how to guard Trae, they blew up the lob a few times today. Also there's just nothing Capela can do with Embiid, if there's any foul trouble for him they are incredibly small and their defense takes a massive step back cause they need to help if Collins or Gallo are on him. They got away with playing Gallo at center against us, you can't do that against Philly.

I don't think they did at all. Trae had Simmons on skates then got him reaching to the point where he was just running circles around him. They had help defense and traps swarming at him leaving guys open all over the place. Atlanta got a whole bunch of wide open looks that they missed, kinda similar to the one game they lost to us at MSG and also similar how Shake Milton had to be the unsung hero like Burks for us off the bench. Even with Embiid looking dominant, Harris getting off to a hot start, Atlanta still fought back and looked to take control before Shakesanity took over. Atlanta looked like they were on empty after unloading their clip in game 1. Game 3 they get to go back home and reload.

They got a big game from Shake, but the length of Simmons definitely bothered Trae, he was more comfortable shooting on Thybulle. I just think the Hawks entire defense is built around Capela, and if he gets in foul trouble they just crumble on that side of the ball. They don't want to send help but Capela can't guard Embiid man to man without picking up fouls, and if he picks up fouls they're in trouble. That's the difference in feel of between our games and theirs to me, they're going to get a consistent 28-40 from their star player which could compromise the Hawks defense as well, so they just need random good games from Simmons, Cury, Harris or Shake. I'd bet we get the 1 aggressive Ben Simmons game next too.

I guess we'll see, I wouldn't bet on this series.

Trae was getting around him at will, the difference was the help defense was collapsing to help. Now that they know where the help is coming from they know they dont have to force lobs to Capella as much, they got shooters in the corners wide open. Also they will likely look to get Collins going more, he wasnt involved much and they can kill Tobias in the pick and roll \ Pop with him and Trae just like how they did Randle.

Agree on Embiid, they got no answer for him but as a team they got more weapons to take him down collectively.
