Let me guess, Jay is defending Kyrie?

Pretty much J Will told him he’s getting personal about Kyrie.

Jay is holding a shield and sword for kyrie here.

It's pointless to talk with a guy that deflects every question or point. He can't shoot straight.

I know he's not the sexier name, but Dinwiddie is younger and is playing a lot better this season, and plus there's the familiarity with him as a player and a person. No thanks on Jae Crowder's corpse as well. That's why I'm personally fine with it. I just wanted Kyrie gone.

What happens next with the three 1sts that the Nets have at their disposal will determine if the Dallas trade was good or bad. If Marks can't swing a follow up deal to bring in another player that moves the needle, then it's time to start fielding offers for Durant. No sense in beating around the bush.

Honestly, I would ask KD straight up if he wants to stick around and see if the Nets can bring in another guy, or if he wants to be traded. If he does want out, I would call up the Lakers asap. They're not going to turn down KD.

I actually like the Mavericks offer also more for you guys. Dinwiddie is actually having a very good season and he just entered his prime. Dorian Finney-Smith is a very good 3-D wing player and also just entered his prime. I still think Durant will ask out in the summer. I don't see how the Nets have the assets to swing a deal for an all-star caliber player and anything less than that is not gonna do it for KD. Not sure whether the Lakers are the right trade partner---they essentially cannot offer any really interesting young players and their picks are a complete wild card. I don't see how their best offer would be even remotely appealing to the Nets.

Too bad Knicks and Nets won't trade as I think the Knicks would have both the assets as well as willingness to put together an interestin deal like Barrett + Quickley + Toppin + 4 FRPs (two unprotected) for KD. I do however think there are gonna be a couple teams that can put together enticing offers---a Sun offer around Bridges + Ayton + two unproteced FRPs for Durant/Claxton could be a nice jumpstart for a complete rebuild.

Yeah i mean we got two rotation pieces that fill immediate needs and draft assets. I'm fine with the Kyrie deal, but it doesn't matter if we can't pull off a move for a DeRozan or Siakam.

I think Stephen A is making it personal, but really no one should defend Kyrie here. He wants guaranteed money with a track record that is abysmal.

Durant is 34 years old and often injured. He is locked until 2026 and could be a headache if he gets another serious injury.

Brown is thriving and much younger. I would only consider it if they are pretty pessimist about an extension.

Jay is full of ****. Stephen A, even when you disagree with him, says what he means without mincing words. Jay tries to hide what he believes like a pussy

I feel like Stephen is over dramatic and full of ****. And however you feel about Kyrie...when all these other corporate puppets were jumping on the band wagon to throw him under the bus, Jay was one of the few with the courage to defend him.

Defending Kyrie isn't a positive. He didn't deserve defending. He's a **** moron, too

I think a Nets-Celtics deal centered around Brown for KD is a win for both teams. KD makes the Celtics the ultimate favorites to win the title for the next 4 years while Brown is a great piece to start a re-tooling process around. A great athlete and all-star caliber player. Usually you don't trade a 26 year old all-star for a 34 year old, but with KD you do. He is THAT good and he will be good the next 3-4 years.

KD is always injured now and barely plays.

Horrible trade for Boston and I doubt it's real.

They got a 1st round pick.....In 2029!

Lol You do realize the Lakers only have picks in 2027 and 2029?

We got back a guard who shouldn’t have left and added a very good 3&D wing next to Royce, Claxton. Opening a roster spot by moving Morris.

Worked out well compared to that horrible Lakers package with Russ.
