I think the NJ Nets GM might just be checked out..

He was active at 9pm, didn't check in here, didn't make a pick, hasn't talked in BAF discussions in a while it seems.

Richard is around. He recently posted in the thread before the draft about potentially looking into making a trade (he said he wasn't too invested in picks 12 and 40 so he might be trying to trade them). He isn't just out there posting a lot in this thread. We also connected somewhat recently via pm.

If he didn't expect to make his pick until noon the following day. No need to rush him. We have a long offseason ahead of us. Over 4 months before we start playing again. And the only two big events during the offseason is Draft and FA. I know being close to being on the clock you just want to pick but I enjoy letting it play out and everyone having time to talk about and discuss the picks. Also gives teams more time to talk moves in between if they want to move up or down the draft.

Also I'm sure Bish appreciates the little down time. After he updated all those deals and started the draft the next morning.

I will make the pick "tomorrow" (Sunday) before noon. I have 10 hours left I guess. I thought I could have some killer offer by the time. I was surprised the 10th and 11th draft picks had already been picked. Besides, I just had a doubt about the rules.

I read with more attention the rules. As I do not have roster spots, I thought I could use the College Holdout to retain the draft player until the trade deadline. But appears it only works for cap space... not roster spots. The cap space would not be a problem apparently because of the soft cap rules (I can have 10$ of my 10% rule to complete the $22 cap left to make $32 for the pick).

If I understood right, does Anyone want Ty Jerome- $1/2 or Will Barton ($40/3) years for a second?

So basically you just sat there and assumed/confused a bunch of stuff and didn’t ask questions and held the draft up ?

I don’t see how anything that was not understood could have not been cleared up many moons ago.

I can’t not believe you gonna say you sat there “ waiting “ for killer offers.
