The Knicks should atleast trade down before wasting a pick on WCS at 4. I can't stand this notion of actually considering this. Man, you know what this is all because we're trying to build a contender during Melo's prime. Man, **** Melo , what has he done for this franchise? I'd rather invest in one of the young point guards and build around them.

Lol tell us how u really feel.

Oh please, you did nothing but criticize Tyson in the days before he was dealt.

Actually worse version means that he's bad, too!!... :)

When has Phil ever liked a big that can't score? Honestly asking. Even Dicky Simpkins could score. Rodman maybe, who is the biggest exception to every rule.

Let me understand....so it would be OK for the Knicks to trade down, thus not drafting the guard you desire to draft WCS with a later pick? Thats no different than just drafting him at 4, but likely with some other asset, but it wont be Mudiay for sure.

Not even gonna comment on the latter, tell us how you really feel.

Didn't Phil say he wouldn't want to trade until after 4? Why would he say that for WCS? He's not in anybody's top 4.

Still honestly asking.

Phil also said he wanted a defensive minded center...a younger version of Tyson as well. basicly Phil has said quite a bit, just camp a tent on what sound best I guess.

Also of note, Kentucky was heavily scouted. Thats might not have been just for Towns.

TrueWarrior wrote:While he's clearly not the athlete Willie is I genuinely believe Cole Aldrich can be a decent starting center for us on the cheap, if we're that desperate for a defensive big man. Top 10 overall in blocks and rebounds per minute. Top 10 for centers in assists per game. Led our team in defensive win shares and had an 18 PER. Great FT shooter. Already know he fits the triangle and he's smart. No reason he couldn't give 25-30 mpg, but he needs to stop eating so many cannolis.

Mudiay/Cole is much better than Schved/Willie.

He died a very quick death the minute he was given ample minutes -- he was exposed /// soon to be benched shortly afterwards.

Don't forget the proposals of trading for Danilo Gallinari (since the first go round with him was spectacular) or the likes of Ben McLemore and Darren Collison.  :banghead:

So I'm confused by all the contradictory stuff people throw at Phil -- so is Collison a triangle point or not?

Mudiay isnt a triangle point, he cant shoot, and without the ball he's useless, but quite a few swear he's Phil's...scratch that... Mills pick.

This may be new ground, but I dont Phil is all that "triangled" going with this team. We've heard rumored players...quite a few werent "triangle" fits. Most of the players on this past seasons roster wernt either.

Phil or Mills is gonna draft who they think will be a good player now and in the future, and in a few seasons will see if it pans out.

Mudiay is a good passer, can post up, is a good cutter and is a big guard who can defend. Phil wants big guards who can defend the most for the triangle.

You can get that in free agency usually at low prices, and he's not a triangle fit without a jumpshot.

Luc only scored double digits one season in his career...

never in the playoffs....
