Mudiay is a good passer, can post up, is a good cutter and is a big guard who can defend. Phil wants big guards who can defend the most for the triangle.

You can get that in free agency usually at low prices, and he's not a triangle fit without a jumpshot.

How do you explain Ron Harper?

he was a multiple 20 ppg player before the bulls.

Luc only scored double digits one season in his career...

never in the playoffs....

Fine but that's not my question to be fair. Luc could score. He was nothing more than a big body and a threat to score. He was nothing like WCS.

Thugger you say Mudiay not a triangle player but there were Mudiay-type guards -- never WCS-type centers.

Our offense will be called "the point."

Pass it to WCS and get out of the way.

easy smoke screen after the Lakers GM came out & said they're considering 4 - 8 players at #2 when they really aren't. Enjoy these next 30 days.

Ron Harper. Perdue was a non-scorer but third string. Wennington was a shooting big. Luc had offensive game, including post game. Neither great or even good but both on the court for size and ability to score. Neither like WCS at all.

None of those bigs were scorers, and Ron Harper was a multiple 20 ppg player before he came to the Bulls.

White JR smith.

Unlimited range, explosive leaper, poor shot taker.

You're raising the bar with your definition of a "scorer" -- I merely asked if he's ever played bigs who couldn't score -- Luc and Bill could score. WCS cannot.

You don't know if Mudiay can or can't be a big-time scorer but that's beside the point -- Ron was never a shooter and he wasn't a big scorer when Phil had him.

No I'm not...Ron Harper actually did average 20 ppg several times before the Bulls. If anyone raising the bar it's you calling guys who hardly if ever even hit 10ppg scorers.

My original comment is Mudiay is not a triangle player because he cant shoot. I never said he cant score, the score discussion started with you.

This is NY and we need good defenders and mentally tough players!!

Mudiay/Russe and Matthew/Butler fill the bill.. Then we see what we can get at C!! M.Gasol or R.Lopez?!

So centers are either scorers or not and those are the only two classifications.

Obviously that tells us nothing.

Luc and Bill played because they could score. The threat was what Phil wanted. Same reason he signed Jason Smith.

WCS is not a threat and other than Will Perdue or another scrub I'm forgetting who played little, Phil seems to not value WCS type centers. Didn't even let Tyson come back.

He may draft him but he's different from Luc or Bill -- I would say totally different.

WCS will be a good NBA player.

Just not the top 5 player from this draft.
