Phil is stupid blah blah he beter get picks and some good stuff. Then NBCsports says Phil not even part of the process aint taking any calls and same people like dude asleep again hahaha. The simple truth is that Phil screwed this up in a big way

You can't make it known that you will do whatever it takes to move your best and most expensive player and then expect to have negoiating strength.


And now you can't really keep him either.

And most fans see that melo isn't the issue but would also accept a smart trade.

So he's gonna lose the team and the fans while having nothing to use as leverage.


On top of that the no trade makes this a 3 team deal only.

If you get butler or cousins or someone similar then you have to make it worthwhile for them via another team.
If you get picks from Boston or somewhere then again it's gotta be worthwhile.

How do you convince Boston to give up their nets pick for what the clips are offering us?

You can't.

There are teams who want to win now like Utah or Memphis or Dallas or elsewhere but have little to nothing to offer and who melo won't accept.

You have teams like the clips and cavs that melo would accept but both have literally nothing we want.

melo has an ntc and has reiterated time and again he wants to stay here. we didn't and still don't have the upperhand in any negotiation, aside form that, whatever we've heard have been nothing but rumors at this point. he **** up when he gave him his ntc.

if Melo is only willing to move his family to certain places and teams thats his prerogative
