Just saw the news, what a shocker.
Not a bad deal, not a great deal, I think it's a good one.
OKC gets more scoring in a 3rd option and Knicks get even to help to tank.
We weren't getting a first for Melo because.....we just weren't. Look at some of the trades that happened this year (PG, Butler), no firsts were traded away. With Melo having his NTC & only wanting to go to specific teams that further complicated that.
It's surreal Mel is gone, he's been here for 7 seasons, been a long time. Personally as someone who rooted for him in high school, rooted for him in college, rooted for him in Denver and seeing him play on my favorite team it's been awesome seeing him here.
A lot of what if's & dissappointments with him here but all in all it's been great to see my favorite player play for the Knicks.
