I think they know they are not the Nuggets, and they know they boxed themselves in with Randle and Thibs.

The reality could be that they are not all in on winning it all because they don't want to risk taking step back without a guaranteed savior around the corner.

This team is built like a finish product that caters to a certain coaching style..... Its good enough for now because we are beating expectations. We are a good -very good team when most expected solid at best. But the hardest thing is to get from good to elite. And now the expectations begin to ramp up.

We keep hearing that no new acquisition will get playing time ...but that has to be countered with - we know as presently constructed we cant win it all.

Right now its a tug of war.....

I was going to say that maybe they are hoping for internal improvement. Maybe what looks like passivity is really just patience....
