Usually you don't trade a 26 year old all-star for a 34 year old, but with KD you do. He is THAT good and he will be good the next 3-4 years.

3-way if JB doesn't want to play for Tsai...

KD to BOS, JB to NY, RJ/Obi + Picks to Brooklyn...

If I had ever any say in these matters I'd prefer to go full rebuild mode anyways and accumulate a lot of picks over getting players that keep you in the 35 win range. However, I feel like most NBA owners prefer to have that exciting player (like JB) on their squad to put butts into the seats regardless of longterm rebuilding plans.

Jaylen Brown would raise the ceiling on this team

He definitely would, there is no question. He is also the type of player I'd be willing to offer like RJ/Toppin + 3 FRPs (even 1 unprotected) but I highly doubt the Celtics would be interested.

I was referring more to what I'd do if I was the Nets---I wouldn't necessarily be looking at adding players like Brown who keep you out of the top 5 lottery picks but I'd rather go full tank for 3 years and emerge with my own home grown superstar talent.

That's a fantastic idea. The problem is, the idiot GM traded all of our own picks to Houston. So we can't really tank unless it's a swap year and Houston is equally as bad.

Marks is probably on the phone begging Masai Ujiri to take Spencer Dinwiddie and 3 firsts for one of their players.

There is no way I would ever trade a 26 year old Jaylen Brown for a 34 year old KD!

Age is going to catch up to KD sooner or later.

I'm secretly hoping KD and his burners rot in Brooklyn. 8-)

KD has been injured every single season he's been here, so i think you won't have to worry about age catching up to him, it already is
