Okafor terrible defender
Russell as athletic as Greg Ostertag
Mudiay shoots like Rondo
Winslow is a midget

It's hyperbole season.

The fact that Towns has no haters makes me think his career is jinxed...Since he hasn't had any terrible player comparisons, he's doomed. So from now on I'm calling Towns Jared Jeffries just so that he can have his own hater too.

There are certainly people who are down on him. I have seen people who prefer him the least of the top 4 ranked guys. I would be one of them. I honestly would take quite a few guys ahead of him.

I just think the fact we haven't had a capable two way player in years made fans starve for Towns more than ever.

Ford calls Mudiay a "power guard" who "always plays in attack mode." He doesn't glide through defenders so much as he charges by them like a pack of wild horses. He's creative with his drives—jabs, dodges, gets defenders to bite, changes direction on a dime, drives hard and finishes strong at the rim.

Here's where the Knicks ranked out of all 30 NBA teams

Points in the Paint - 30th
Fast Break Points - 30th
Free Throw Attempts - 29th
Rebounds - 29th
Opponents' 3-Point FG% - 30th

Just draft Mudiay and let's stop the nonsense

Good insight into what we'd be getting in Mudiay

I swear I thought this before we dropped to 4, and it's not hindsight because I really wanted Russell, but I somewhat wanted to drop to avoid having to take a big man. I'm fine with both big men, obviously, but getting a big time guard would rule. I was fine with Mudiay, and now grew to like him more due to A) We're in that position and B) He's arguably the one with the most potential. But yeah, the 4 spot ain't bad this year. It's actually really good. And with how strong the big man class is this year, it may be a blessing.

This was a quote straight from Phil's mouth at an event in April... "Forget about the triangle. That comes after everything else." He's going after the BPA, and he'd be foolish not to

I have dreamed about the Knicks having their own elite point guards for years man...the type of player where when teams see the Knicks on the schedule they're like "how are we going to contain their point guard and keep him out of the paint?" We finally have a chance to draft that type of player. No more Raymond Feltons, Jose Calderons, and Chris Duhons.

Forget about the fit with Carmelo Anthony and the triangle. Melo will be leaving his prime soon, and Phil may not even be here in 3 years. We need a player that can become the new face of our franchise and bring us into a new era.

If we don't take one of the 4 this franchise is domed for another 5 years most likely.

I don't think I'd be able to handle a Winslow or WCS selection bro...I really don't

Made a note of it on this website that sends you an e-mail to remind you in 3 years. We should make an official thread for predictions for these prospects and I'll set up a reminder for the thread in 3 years so we can see who was right.

Chill bro, you'll be setting yourself up for disappointment. Let's see if he's able to improve his shot 1st

I am a Knicks fan, setting ourselves up for disappointment is what we do :D

What are you going to do with that username if we don't draft Mudiay?

Team Towns conditioned and regulated a lot of Towns hate before March. It mostly died when people accepted Towns as the #1.
You should trust there was a lot of Towns hate from September into February when Okafor was the consensus #1.

not really holding out hope. I know he is not dropping to 4. This was pretty much why most knicks fans had him as there #1 before we knew where we were picking.

The knicks haven't had a 2-way big man since patrick ewing left.

Most draft analytic models have Russell as #1 prospect, followed by Towns, Winslow, and Okafor.

I think that they excluded Mudiay since he didn't play college ball
