Here's where the Knicks ranked out of all 30 NBA teams

Points in the Paint - 30th
Fast Break Points - 30th
Free Throw Attempts - 29th

Rebounds - 29th

Opponents' 3-Point FG% - 30th

Just draft Mudiay and let's stop the nonsense

If we don't take one of the 4 this franchise is domed for another 5 years most likely.

Wowwwwww.

And finally after 5 months, we have finally arrived to the conclusive argument against drafting WCS/Winslow.

To be fair though the Knicks were near the bottom in almost every category . 29th in offensive rating and 28th in defensive rating. Still clearly take Mudiay, but the team sucks all over more than leeches on rotting flesh.

I'm fine with both big men, obviously, but getting a big time guard would rule. I was fine with Mudiay, and now grew to like him more due to A) We're in that position and B) He's arguably the one with the most potential. But yeah, the 4 spot ain't bad this year. It's actually really good. And with how strong the big man class is this year, it may be a blessing.

I have dreamed about the Knicks having their own elite point guards for years man...the type of player where when teams see the Knicks on the schedule they're like "how are we going to contain their point guard and keep him out of the paint?" We finally have a chance to draft that type of player. No more Raymond Feltons, Jose Calderons, and Chris Duhons.

I'm with you, I really want a great PG for this team. I wasn't born yet when Walt was leading this team to titles. I got stuck with Charlie Ward and every other team's reject, backup, or has been PG. I'm surprised Dolan never paid off over the hill Allen Iverson's debts and had him bring his Tone Loc ball hogging act to NYK.

If we draft Mudiay, I want him picking the brain of Walt Fraizer on the art of how to be a championship winning PG. I also want him studying tape of Walt Fraizer and Gary Payton.

the kid might get to the line more, but his % at the line is garbage for a professional PG. I dont like how his weaknesses are things that may never change. thus making him a possible bust. there's no guarantees on this kid, as with anyone else...

Only Town can't slide to #4... unless the LA do the impossible and pass on him in favor of Mudiay/Russell

We have like 1 out of 10 chance to land Okafor on draft night. In 1 of the 10 parallel universes, Okafor would play in a Knicks uniform alongside Melo and feast in triangle. So Jahlil hopefuls should start looking for ways to travel from one parallel universe to another.

Free throw percentage can easily be improved...I'm not even worried about that

some do, some dont. how do you feel about the broken jumper ? it doesnt even look natural. i dont know if he can re-learn his shot form at this stage of the game. its a lot more then the stoke. he bends his knees and jumps while he chucks. its awkward.

Early feasted on the D-league in his appearances and will have had his first offseason of training. I think he could get some attention but all eyes will likely be on Thannasis since his defensive prowess and athleticism have gotten attention already and he's an unknown at the next level (no clue how he'll look, but moocow and a couple of others got a good look at him).

Neither Early or Greek can dribble or pass --- this is a big issue with any thoughts of future offensive stardom projections.

I don't think that his jumper is broken...a broken jumper to me is like Ronny Brewer's or Tony Allen's. His shot just needs a few tweaks. He does this thing where he kind of re-adjusts his hands right before he releases the ball...it's hard for me to explain on here. He just needs to make his shot more fluid, and learn to square up to the basket and stay on balance. Those things aren't hard to learn. Lebron came in with a horrible jumper...he airballed so many shots his rookie year, and now he's respectable. Blake Griffin became respectable too. I think that Mudiay will as well. His shot looked a lot better in his last 2 China games...he shot 4-8 from 3.

sounds fair. im not against Mudiay by any means, just think every option needs to be explored. have fair concerns about each of them.

I understand the concern, but not many rookies come in and shoot well right away in the league. Even guys known for shooting like McLemore, Stauskus, and McBuckets sucked their 1st year. Eventually, I think that Mudiay will end up at least average in terms of shooting. I don't think that he'll be a liability like Rondo. I think that he'll be that type of player where you know for certain that he's a better slasher than shooter, but he's still capable of shooting

Overall after 5 years...maybe 18-19 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists

Here is a comparison of potential Knicks draft pics.

Mario Hezonja – Rex Chapman (don’t know anything about Chapman but he was apparently a decent player)

dude is doing comparisons with players he admittedly doesnt know ?

Minny isn't going to select Okafor over Towns -- so LA won't even have the option of passing on him in favor of either guard.
