Homeboy Sandman is really good. His publicist has been sending a lot of tracks by him. From what I have been hearing his album is on another level.

Sandman was a good listen. His chorus was awful but his flow and track was on point.

How the hell can Rick Ross be on any list?

No it's how I headlined the thread starting it with Kiss Top 5 Dead or Alive then I said Plus Nice Tracks. I don't see how you could have been confused. If you have followed this genre there's no way to be confused.

nice stuff bluest...jada is just nasty.. I think he is one of the more underrated rappers out there.. and you can never go wrong with Raekwon and ghost...

He has a couple more hot ones out off his up coming MixTape but he very rarely if ever waste any bars when he jumps off.

There were some really nice drops in this thread....some kind of caught me by surprise. Jada is on top of his game maybe better than he ever was.

I also caught a clip online on Tech9 who's been around for a minute. I do not like his style but artistically he's meant a lot to the game. He basically was doing Rock/Rap before Wayne. Actually wasn't Ice-T or Cube the first do Rock/Rap and I'm referring to several tracks on an album reflecting this?

Ice T fronted a rock/rap band but it was a separate endeavor. Cypress Hill had that double album with rap superstar on one disc and rock superstar on the second to show the change in styles which is pretty similar though. Funny that Blondie rapping in a song is the first time I can think of a real rock/rap crossover...haha.

This thread has a lot of gold. I'll have plenty to bump at work tom.

I have to say though, that Lupe, Alicia Keys track is disappointing imho.

That was a song scrapped from Alicia's album, actually.

that cypress hill double disc came out during that terrible era of terrible rock/rap bands and wasnt really anything inventive. i dunno. i'd throw ill communication out as the first/best.

I'm not saying it was anything major, but it was an album with several rock/rap tracks as well as legitimate rap. It wasn't a bad album but I'm a die hard Cypress Hill fan.

So Nasty and I'm far from a Weezy Fan but this is ridiculous. Probably craziest beat-audio track out. The Lyrics are definitely Parental Guidance

or..... and another from Top 5 Dead Or Live

He just doesn't waste any bars

They broke up, I'm hoping Phonte gets on his grind HEAVY now. Someone mentioned this next track in the other hip hop thread (I still think mods should merge it to this)...Lupe is unbelievable sometimes man...lovin' it.
