That run the documentary periodically on the Science Channel, so you might seen it again soon.
I think I know the experiment. It's where the tiny particles that only live for milliseconds were shown to live for like 30 seconds right? That was proof you can essentially "slow down" time if you move fast enough (a day for you is a year outside of that speed)...but that only proves you can go to the future now the past. If I'm mistaken let me know though.
Check this out guys, my favorite theory right now and something I take huge interest in just because it sounds so crazy yet somehow makes sense to me with the bit of quantum mechanics I've seen in documentaries and articles...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One-electron_universeThe one-electron universe hypothesis, commonly associated with Richard Feynman when he mentioned it in his Nobel lecture,[1] postulates that there exists only a single electron in the universe, propagating through space and time in such a way as to appear in many places simultaneously.
Yeah, I think that was the Experiment. My point though is that years ago, Time Travel period was thought not doable or centuries away. We've already proven that half-way (Forward), in the coming Decades...who's to say we can't prove the other half (Backwards)?

See where I'm coming from?

Oh and to answer your question above, it's on many of the Documentaries (which also carry over from Books), that the Science and History Channels run. Google should be able to help you fill the gaps you need if you want a detailed breakdown.

You mean the God Particle?

But seriously, if that were the case then String Theory and Singularities would be a false logic, because then the "Big Bang" would be impossible.
