With the recent run on PG's the Spurs are very happy that Russell has remained on the board to pick #23. Averaging 16/8/5 last year, in only his second season, Russell showed that he is a present day star in this league. Durability, playing every game, both seasons is another plus. At only 21 and with a very reasonable salary, we are extremely excited to get a player who will lead and continue to grow. The Spurs welcome Russell Westbrook.

With the 38th pick in the RealGM B-a-T 4.0 draft, the San Antonio Spurs select 24 year old, 6'9 SF/PF, Josh Smith. We love teaming Smith with Westbrook and watching the high flying, above the rim action that will take place in San Antonio. Smith and Westbrook are both very young, and above average defenders. An extremely gifted athlete, Smith will continue to improve and playing next to a top flight PG, will make him extremely dangerous.
