I'm interested to see how this develops. JayVaughn came into this season a little lazy and was already a small concern for Nova. This certainly doesn't help.

Little early huh?! They arent even gonna win the Big Ten if they dont have anybody step up at point guard. Kalin Lucas is back for Michigan State, their freshmen looked terrific too and they will not be intimidated at all by the Buckeyes' size...

What does winning the Big Ten have to do with winning the NC?

Anyway, if Craft can handle the ball and not turn it over like he did in the first game and the vets (Lighty, Diebler, Buford) can team up to do the ball handling when he's out, that's all we need from our PG.

Michigan State has one of those teams built to win it all.
Duke obviously got better talent wise this year.
I really love Pullen and Kansas State.
My sleeper team is the Washington Huskies, just love the way they play.

Well, his comment after one comment kind meant that they are so good that they will win the NC. My comment was meant to tell that I dont think they are even good enough to win the Big Ten. We'll see but right now, I would rather put money on Sparty than the Buckeyes... both good teams, all speculation right now...

I'm obviously biased, but I really don't see Mich St. or Ohio St. going far this year in the tourney. Sparty didn't scare me last year and didn't add any true impact players if I'm not mistaken, and Ohio St. lost the best player in the big 10, and is relying too much on a freshman to have a big impact. I think Wisconsin is going to be bad this year too which sucks. Hopefully Gasser or Rob Wilson really steps up, because without either of them we have 0 scoring at the 2 or the 3.

Jon Leuer for Big Ten POY

And FWIW, here's how I see the standings (at least at the top)

Mich St.
Ohio St.
Illinois
Wisconsin
Purdue

who cares.

I had Purdue winning the conference before Hummel went down, but I think now it'll be Mich St almost by default. It's a down year for the conference.
